Right from the start,R&C Future:TOD will blow you away with its amazing visuals.This is one of the best looking games on the PS3.The models look great because of there high detail and non cloudy textures.The huge and colorful enviorments are just another plus to the graphical design.This truly is a beautiful game.
The sound design is excellent!The voice acting is quite well-done as usual in the R&C games.Oh,and the music is quite joyful.It'll speed up as you near closer to your death,and will play a little jig as you explore your amazing world.Each tool of destruction at your grasp sounds truly destructive,too.
This epic's tale is quite interesting and will have any true R&C fan waiting to see what happens next.It involves an evil Cragmite named Percival Tachyon who wishes to destroy Ratchet!,as usual...The tale also has Ratchet in search of his origins and as to where he comes from,and to what became of his beloved Lombax kind.There is a deep and awesome story with in this R&C game.
Game play remains intact in this new installment.You still have your huge arsenal of weapons to choose from,and a wide variety of gadgets and devices.Though there a few new mini-games to play.They'll involve you fixing a circuit-board,to flying around with your new robo-wings.The circuit-board mini-games happen a lot,but the robo-wing ones don't happen all to often.This game's difficulty is very easy,but it does get noticeably harder in the very later levels.Even with the repetitive/challenging mini-games,this is still a heck of fun to play.
My overall thoughts for the game:Any R&C maniac should definitely just right now go ahead and pick this up.This is also a pretty good game for the kids.Final Verdict:Future is pretty easy,fun,and has a playful story which just ties in with awesome game play to create a near master piece!
