It takes you back and makes you feel the nostalgia.

User Rating: 6.8 | Rampage ARC
Rampage was a fun smash em up game that allows you to go on a “rampage”. When I think about this game I always remember the feeling of wanting to destroy a city, I thought to myself it would be very cool. I don't know how many people were fans of a cartoon from the late 70's early 80's called Mazinger Z, this guy fought with monsters and destroyed the city every time doing so. As you can see back in the mid 80's this was a very interesting game play idea and rampage allowed you to live it up.

The simple game play of just demolishing everything in sight while fighting other monsters was appealing to anyone, even today. I just revisited this game on my PSP as part of the midway arcade treasures collection. The downside is that after a while it gets very repetitive and in the end you are bound to get bored after a while.

Its graphics are good for it's time period, but beauty is best cherished with one’s eyes, because of this I think there were better looking arcades that lured me to spend my coins on them. I think the same goes for its sound, nothing extraordinary.

Bottom line rampage can take you back and gives you that fix you need, but after a while it is going to get boring, repetitive and costly if you are playing on arcade.
