It takes you back and makes you feel the nostalgia.
The simple game play of just demolishing everything in sight while fighting other monsters was appealing to anyone, even today. I just revisited this game on my PSP as part of the midway arcade treasures collection. The downside is that after a while it gets very repetitive and in the end you are bound to get bored after a while.
Its graphics are good for it's time period, but beauty is best cherished with one’s eyes, because of this I think there were better looking arcades that lured me to spend my coins on them. I think the same goes for its sound, nothing extraordinary.
Bottom line rampage can take you back and gives you that fix you need, but after a while it is going to get boring, repetitive and costly if you are playing on arcade.
