Did you know Hitler was eaten by a giant lobster?

User Rating: 7.5 | Rampage Through Time PS
When Midway establishes a hit series, they strive to release a new title every year. One year after Universal Tour was released, Midway shipped Rampage: Through Time for the PS1. Complete with one new monster and the ability to destroy the Spartans of 300, Though Time is a pretty good send off to the World Tour trilogy.

ScumLabs stuns the world with it's creation of a Time Machine, but just as such, another genetic breakout occurs. Harley the Warthog is created and along with the previous monsters, goes back in time and destroys history as we know it.

Once again, Rampage's simplistic gameplay returns. You still destroy cities and eat people, but not alone. If you play by yourself, two CPU monsters will assist...and annoy you. At the end of each time period is a mini game. These are fun, but can be challanging and if you don't beat the other two monsters, game over. You have to reload you game and destroy the civilization over again. This can get quite frusturating.

Each time period comes with its own unique soundtrack. Medievil has flute while Alien has techno. Some you may like, some you may not. Either way, the songs stay true to the time period.

The graphics are once again 2D, but that's what keeps it true to the franchise.

Through Time can be fun, yet frusturating. If you're a Rampage fan, buy it or at least rent it.
