Walk through the tutorial to learn the basics about questing, enhancing, evolving and battling. Below I will give you some tips to avoid mistakes a lot of noobs make in this game so you will have a small headstart :)
You start out by choosing a realm: man, god or demon. God and Demon are the most popular. (Think about which one you want to choose, the best is to only use cards from this realm).
Walk through the tutorial to learn the basics about questing, enhancing, evolving, battling and serveral other features of the game. Below I will gove you some tips to avoid mistakes a lot of noobs make in this game so you will have a small headstart :)
Questing: in the beginning it is convenient for you to quest a lot in order to gain experience points. This way you can level fast, which will give you the ability to add points to your stamina, attack and defense. Also, you will level in your quests, which will give you bonuses such as cure water holy powder and rupies (in game money). Some tips:
- When adding points, try to get stamina to 50 points, then do the same for attack and defense. After that, focus on stamina again until it's about 100 points. You won't need more stamina then that! This will give you a disadvantage in the future, when you will level too fast and won't have good opponents to play against because they are all lower level then you. After you stamina is 100, focus on attack again until it is hundred, then do the same for defense.
- Each two levels you will be given the opportunity to add a fellow. Just add someone. If someone accepts you as their fellow, you will be given five extra points which you can spend on your stamina, attack or defense!
- Do not use the bonuses you receive when levelling, but [b]save[/b] them! Holy powder (restores att/def) and cure water (restores stamina) are valuable goods for trading. Using them in the beginning of the game is a waste. You better save them until a holy war, when other players are desperate for it and will trade you some nice rare cards for a small HP and CW price.
- You will receive treasures during questing, such as rings and keys. Collecting a set of treasures will give you a certain rare card. You will notice that there is a run on several rare treasures and that people battle each other to get these. Don't go out of your way collecting treasures just to get the rare card. They are worth next to nothing and you won't be able to get of rid of them when trading.
Evolving: evolving several of the same cards will make a stronger card of it with higher attack and defense stats. After evolving a card four times it reaches its final state. Keep in mind:
- a normal card evolved four times will turn into a high normal card. These cards are worth less then a single high normal. Same goes for high normals turned into rares. Watch our that people don't try to rip you off with this.
Enhancing: you can also enhance single cards(even before evolving). This will make their stats go up as well.
- Do not enhance single normal cards. They worth next to nothing, so it is a waste of your rupies. If you want to enhance them, wait until they are in their evolved state. Enhancing single cards is only useful when you start getting rare cards.
- You enhance cards with other cards. Try to enhance a card with the maximum number of cards (9) at the time. It will cost you a lot of rupies if you don't.
- Need cards to enhance your card with? Keep playing quest 2-2. This will give you a lot of cards and will cost you the least in stamina.
One more general tip. Read the guidance within the game and check the forum. There is a good forum here in gamespot and when you google you will find another big ROB forum. Especially when you start getting rare cards and want to evolve and enhance them it is wise to check the fora for tips and strategies on how to do this. You could end up with a much more powerful card this way.
