This Game is pure-epic!When i was playing it,i always said that it's the best game of all time...

User Rating: 9.5 | Quake PC
Quake is more powerfull than an earth-quake!a classic fps that will live on forever.from the 2000's,i think that only half-life 2 can match it,sincerelly!
quake is as great as part 2 & even better than any doom!enough!
id software was pumping up greatness to the pc,like konami did to the snes & akllaim did to the sony ps1.doom,quake,wolfenstein...wow!3 unbeliveable series!comparable with the 3 from blizzard.oh,about the game, yes.
you play the role of a marine, space marine whatever.you go through 4 chapters-dimension of the doomed, the realm of black magic, the netherworld & the the elder world.very immersive & classic of course.i observed a common feature to a lot of series,it's very strange-resident evil 1 is scary,re2 is full of action.tomb raider 1 is full of adventure,tr 2 is full of action.terminator 1 is a thriller,t-2 is an action movie.same thing with the quake series-quake 1 is scary, quake 2 is full of action!
quake has an original weapon-the nailgun, that returns back in quake 4.it's so much fun to fire the nails into those creepy creatures:)the very powerfull bfg is not missing.the basic weapon is the axe.other weapons are the shotgun(my all time favourite),pistol,rocket/grenade launcher common weapons.
at the end of the first chapter, you will fight with a monstruos, hidious creature called chtton, which looks like satan!lol!it's very easy to beat.at the end of the game, you will fight shub niggurath.i really don't know what's that creature, how to describe it-it's an enigma for me!very hard to defeat.
quake was released in 1996 & it doesn't look dated at all for me...maybe because i have the gl version.the controls are ok except one thing-you can move the mouse only horizontally which is frustrating!the music...i don't remember hearing any music in this game...
when you finish a chapter,a briefing appears,a large text message, just like in doom.i don't know what to say more, the game is too great to be described, that's what i think!
