A fun little game, yet with one "long" problem.
But first off, you can do some pretty cool stunts as you already know from the vids. The graphics are all they say they are and more. Heck you can even build your own ATV which i thought was a nice little feature, kinda mixing it up Need For Speed style. You get better stuff by completing races and you also get to pick your character. It all really is built up nice if it wasnt for one big problem. The loading times. Never before have I had to struggle with such a problem. I mean, i have over 3ghz dual core, nvidia 8600 GT 512mb, 2 gb of ram, crysis, half-life 2, anything that i throw at it runs like a dream and loads fast. Don't get me wrong, this game once it loads, runs awesome on max settings, the problem is to get it past the stupid load screen. For some reason a lot of people are having problems with this and it really does take about 30 mins to load one map.
The second problem that I had, though minor, were the controls. You have to use both hands and press about 4-5 buttons in the air just to do a trick, accelerate, boost and jump with one hand, while leaning to the side and pressing the stunt button with the other all in the right sequence. I found it a little frustrating since you need to make multiple stunts sometimes and its really crazy finger acrobatics. You can however fix the controls at least but the problem is still there.
Other than that the game is pretty good, im just hoping they release a patch or something to fix the load screen because i really dont want to wait half an hour just to do a couple stunts.
Choice is yours weather or not to buy this. I would try something else honestly, at least for now, this game realy needs that patch.
