Not surprised about the score, at least from the demo I appeared to be in the 7 to 8 range. Cool combat in all but it just seemed to be put together with all the same RPG components of previous games.
It is not just that the bugs were overlooked, it was that they didn't show up as much until literally thousands of people began to get into the game. The world was just too big to have game testers find all of them, so the gamers became the testers. Just imagine the bugs that they DID find. Heh
