Yes, and for me it wasn’t difficult. Surprisingly my wife and I had just gone to bed and saw Walmart had preorders available. Order went through right away. I was relieved that there was no struggle since I no longer have the patience for fighting bots.

Definitely a system seller for me. I’m hoping it recreates the magic that once was Demon’s Souls on the PS3. I’m very curious if it will have world tendency like the original.

Bluepoint hasn’t left me down yet, and it appears they stepped up the visuals and atmosphere to a new level. I am hoping they were able to finish a few areas that needed some much needed attention.

Regardless, for me, this is the only game I plan on preordering for release.

I finished the game, completed all shrines but one, found hundreds of Korok Seeds, linked up all four Divine Beasts, and ended feeling fairly dissappointed. The 4 Divine Beast dungeons were all virtually the same, and needed some variety. The shrines are like rinse and repeat of each other with quite a few telling you that finding the shrine was your trial...so ummm here is your reward... and I'm left thinking the developers got pretty laxed or lazy, and it sucks when finding the temple half the time was some tedious shit. The constant degrading of weapons really spoiled battles for me, although when a weapon breaks it inflicts double or critical hit damage which was helpful, but the constant searching for another weapon in the middle of a fight was annoying. Later in the game it did not feel as relevant, but it was still there enough to disrupt some Lynel mini boss fights. I despised cooking as well. Luckily, once environmental gear was obtained cooking wasn't as essential to progression. Overall I was pretty dissapointed with the game...especially the last boss Ganon which was nothing special. I have played / beaten all TLoZ console and handheld titles excluding the CD-I games, and other than traversing the Hyrule overworld in BotW, I was greatly dissapointed.

I would like to see this Hyrule overworld reused but have real dungeons added. Also, add more caves and hidden secret places. Get rid of of the Spirit Orbs, and return the hidden Heart Containers. Since the Stamina Wheel is now a thing I would like them found in a similar fashion to Heart Containers hidden throughout the environment. I enjoyed the Great Fairy Fountains, needing Rupees to open them, and then enemy / environmental loot for upgrades.

The game could have been great, but really fell short imo. I could have stopped short of completion and not really cared...that is a first for me with TLoZ.

Mario Odyssey deserves the GotY award imo.

My absolute biggest complaint are the recycled shrines where just simply making it to the shrine proved my worth... what a lazy developement team. Half the time making it to the shrine was pure boredom, so I was hoping for a shrine with an interesting puzzle to solve, but nope. Currently I have solved 110 shrines and all 4 dungeons. I can say a majority of this game is tedious and quite boring... It was a nice change being open world and all, but I hope the next installment returns to more dungeons and somewhat more linear gameplay.

@zmbi_gmr: I understand, Zelda 2 was / is a difficult game. I was just 9 or 10 when it was released on the NES and I had played / beaten it. Dark Link was such a pain in the ass, especially for a young kid, but the gratification I felt after beating him I still remember to this day. Probably why I love all of the Soulsborne games.

@KBFloYd: I absolutely loved Zelda 2, and SMB2 as well... so much hate for both these games, but Zelda 2 gets more. Nice to see someone show these two games some love!

Seriously, BotW isn't all that great. I literally did 5 or 6 shrines in a row where simply making it to the shrine was the challenge. Plus, the game is extremely repetitive. It is the 2nd Zelda game I've played where boredom has seeped into my gameplay. Wind Waker is the other... I've played all TLoZ games since the Nes. Plus, **** the rain / lightning... seriously this can ruin exploration. I've already needed to wait out two lightning storms and a rainfall in order to continue up a mountain...

OoT is my favorite 3D Zelda title. Zelda 2 is my favorite 2D Zelda title.

I have 6 uploaded levels so far. I think this one is the best, but the others are also pretty good!
