@Tiwill44: After Gearbox was Embraced in 2021 -- not '15 -- 2K's already-existing contracts with developers didn't change, so the same money that was supposed to go to independent Gearbox now went to the 2K-owned Gearbox.
Not much should change apart from tolerances of Gearbox's higher-ups.
“Tetris might have something to say about Microsoft's claim that Minecraft is the best-selling game, considering Tetris has sold more than 500 million copies.”
The 500M+ figure is cheating as it’s for the Tetris brand, not a single game named Tetris. It includes ALL Tetris games, including sequels, spinoffs, sequel spinoffs and more. It would be more comparable to put the Tetris Company’s claim against all the GTAs, or all the Call of Duties. It would still likely win, but it would be a fairer comparison.
I’m still not sure if I’ll get this. If the Blu-rays included all the supplements that the original Kino Lorber press release listed, it would be a no-brainer buy. With Universal forcing them a day or two later to dump them in the name of “cross-region parity,” I may be satisfied with my old DVDs.
@olddadgamer: It's not really in "droves" recently, though. It's made the vast bulk of its box office already. There's not too much left.

SMB made $18.6M last weekend. With a VERY generous 30 percent drop, it will make $13M this coming weekend. The following weekend, "Fast X" opens and SMB will lose even more theaters. Again, assuming that same generous 30 percent drop, it would make only $9M.
