 sony motion tech was an epic fail is just like the wii with better presicion:lol:

LOL omg this fanboys are crazy

:? the 360 one is 300 % better than that POS

Ps3 already has an EyEtoy, so did the ps2.

And the eyetoy did not track depth by measuring the time it takes reflected light to return to the camera, did not have built in voice recognition software for the developers to use, and did not have true face recognition.

You could say that Natal is a 3d eyetoy with amazing software built in, but that wouldn't exactly be "the same", would it?

none of the natal tech is really new, just look at the eyepet ps3. voice recognition is cool but its no diff from using a headset in games like .....that one ps2 game where u guide that girl around with your voice. lifeline was it?

Before Sonys E3, all the PS3 fanboys were laughing at Natal, yet suddenly when the PS3s motion controller was announced, i havn't seen many PS3 fanboys around?

Natal is a good idea but it seems to be more targeted at casual gamers. With ps3s motion thing it looks like it can do casual and some hardcore games. In the end they were both great ideas. And i like the wii i just havent got it yet cause not many games on that console that make me want to buy it.

Natal can do everything Sony's can do, plus a whole lot more.

If MS wanted to do a demo having you reach behind your back, place an imaginary arrow onto a bow, pull the string and release, they could have.

natal can do a 1st person shooter?? really now???

Wii should of came with motion plus you shouldn't have to buy somthing to make it work right.

Oh, the irony... I guess Sony and MS will just give away their add-ons.

difference being with ps3 and 360 you have options.....

u havent played it so u cant talk. did u see how slow everything had to be with the tech showing the sword and shield gameplay? the guy was already having trouble shooting the arrows when those ogres where walking MAD slow towards him.

Professor64

well the tech is unfinished but already the precision shown in the sword and shield demo is something you just couldnt do with the wiimote. and if it could be done for wii as you imply, why hasnt it? :)

Uhm.....because Motion Plus just came out? Seriously dude.....did you even read the topic? Motion Plus completes the Wii-remote to the extent that there is nothing more that the other controllers can come up with to surpass it. They can only come to an equal status but not surpass it....and thats what Nintendo has done. They will get Motion Plus out soon enough and there will be a full year before Sony even releases it. Guess who wins!

dunno if you predicting or what but the motion plus has not added the precision shown on either the sword and shield demos, or the demo where he drew his name precisely. maybe i missed some big secret but wiimote still just isnt that precise from what ive seen. sorry

TC Fails.

I'll give you a clue.....you could hold the normal controller in your hands and it'll still look at you. It doesnt suddenly not work because your holding the controller aswell.

Think.

and attempt to also use the controller at the same time. I dare you. Even if it uses face detection you have no eye-sight on the controller. It is completely impossible to use a controller with this.

LOL @ you, the Ps3 at present has motion wobble function. Natal has almost unlimited gesture function.

Example: COD3

PS3 - German grabs you, so you wobble the remote

Nataal - German grabs you, so you punch him in the face and kick him when he's down. Still got the controler in my hands

THINK.

so um....youd throw down ur controller punch at the camera and then pick up the controller again?? hardly seems practical

motion plus

motion plus offers additional functionality yes, but from what ive seen it still isnt nearly as precise. Makes sense though, using a camera to track movement would seem to be more effective then using a sensor bar

[QUOTE="zeonne"]no offense, but the wiimote isnt on par the ps3's controller. to start its a whole lot less precise(try writing ur name with wiimote in the picture viewer) which is why a game like star wars 1st person could never be done right and end up just being a whole bunch of flailinganshuk20002

[QUOTE="zeonne"]no it was hated because nintendo tryed to shove the benefits of it down our throats while completely ignoring the hardcore gamer. i have a wii and havent seen any games that interest me since ssbb. for the record though, sony isnt exactly copying. they were in fact the 1st, 1st party company to release a motion controller (eyetoy) long b4 nintendo.nintendo-4life
I didn't say Wii, i said Wiimote.

sorry for the error, the wiimote was what i was talking about as well. it was the benefits of motion sensing nintendo kept trying to sell with few games for ppl non interested in hannah montana, and pokemon............( that last statement was added for dramatic effect)
