Mainstream games are getting generic, but indie games are where innovation is at. If you say gaming is getting worse, then you're probablly focused on explosions. A.K.A, mainstream games.

Ye the reviewer is obviously a casual fps COD player, Iam loving this game so far, one of the most funnest fps Iv played in a long time, it does a have a few bugs and performance issues, but not unplayble. Funny thing is, this game is the same price as a COD map pack, that offeres 4 maps, while this offeres a full game, with SP and MP, that is better than any COD game.

ultimate-k

Lol, Casual and COD are the most tossed out words in the basement dweller community.

[QUOTE="locopatho"]

[QUOTE="Shensolidus"] Both Multiplats that were considered "PC Games" back then. And CoD2 did shit numbers compared to CoD4 a mere two years later.Shensolidus

Sales are irrelevant. Made up rules are irrelevant. The games existed andcwere amazing. 360 fvcking rocked.

360 pre-fall 2006? Oblivion and CoD2 were alright, but it wasn't the "Wow!" moment that 360 was promising. That didn't start happening until after Gears of War and its amazing delivery on the promise of Xbox Live Multiplayer was fulfilled by it. I'll never forget when Bioshock came out in August of 2007. It was then that I started feeling what next-gen could offer.

to be honest the 360 had the best launch of this gen. Condemend, Project gotham racing 3, perfect dark zero, kameo... even if none of those were mindblowing titles, it was a very diverse and solid lineup. The ps3 on the other hand was awful. Good thing sony picked up their game.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. It was a torture comedy. I compare it to Vampires Suck or Epic Movie.

I'm the same way. I haven't been scared since in a movie was 7 years old when I was watching the exorsist. Other than that horror movies are actually funny. I can't fathom how people can get scared from jump scares, random people vomiting, or screaming loudly... I just don't get it. And it isn't like I'm not letting my imagination wander, I just simply don't get scared. Then again, nothing in life scares me either. I've been in the woods at night, got a bit scared, but my friends almost had heart attacks.

I do have fun in them. Drag me to hell was so much fun, though it was funny at times.

Now video games on the other hand... Amnesia, dead space and even Silent hill scare the crap out of me.

I used to think like that when I was young, but it had to do with the way in which I was raised. Everything I wanted was always given to me, so when I couldn't get what I wanted in life it made me miserable... made me contemplate scuicide tons of times. Then I grew up and realized how stupedly spoiled I was and that a lot of people have it a billion times worse than me. In fact my life amounts to no suffering, whatsoever. It has a lot to do with maturity, but we must also note that not everyone has the same mental stability in life. For example, someone who is struggling financially. Not saying is right, but that person might suddenly decide to pull the trigger one night.
