With the level of hype I would have expected at least 90-95 on MC (COD4 or MW2 level scores).

That's a great score, but for all the insane amounts of hype and "most important game ever" hubub you must admit that the game being sub 90 on MC is a little disappointing.

I had a similar thought when thinking about Planet side 2 coming out, and thinking it would be hilarious if PS2 outscored Titanfall.

You shouldn't be listing Titanfall like it's some sort of exclusive for the XB1. It's no more exclusive then FFXIV, The Binding of Isaac Rebirth, Daylight, Diablo 3, Don't Starve, Hotline Miami 2, Octodad, Outlast, Rogue Legacy, Secret ponchos, Transistor, Volume and The Witness. All of these games which are coming out in 2014 to the PS4 and not the XB1.

If we are talking about them as purely game development studios and ignoring the whole steam thing (which is irrelevant if we are talking about the games the company makes), and if we go by recent years Valve has the higher game output, 5 releases since 2009 vs 3 releases by Naughty Dog.

Things that need to be remembered are that Valve is a bigger company with more employees, and that Valve is also a publisher.

Personally from that list of titles from them both in recent years i prefer the ND games overall but it's entirely subjective, I really enjoyed L4D2 and Portal 2, and Alien Swarm was pretty fun, I just never really got into DOTA2 much and i never played Counterstrike GO....

That's interesting, the guy must have a lot of mini's or something, i just did a quick count on my system and i only have 61 apps at this point with 4gb left on my memory card.

I think Nintendo would probably earn much more money if they did become third party and then ported there older NES/SNES/GBA/N64/GC games to mobiles/steam/PSN/XBL. It becomes a hard sell with Nintendo forcing you to buy their hardware just to play there 1st party exclusives that never drop in price.
