All of you Sony and Microsoft fanboys are raving with excitement about the upcoming motion control thats coming to PS3 and 360.

Oh but nearly 3 years ago when the Wii first came out, everyone called it a gimmick that wouldn't last, and now look the big, fancy " Hardcore HD systems are copying it ".

Am i the only one that see's a pattern here ?

i mean c'mon, way back when Nintendo was the first to go from joystick to game pad with the NES, and Sega and Atari copied them.

Then Nintendo comes out with the analog thumb stick and rumble pack with N-64 and Sony and the rest copied them.

Well here we are almost 25 years of Nintendo innovations later and the competition are still hypocrites, first they mach the motion control as a gimmick and now there copying it yet again.

So before you fanboys go bashing the Wii for it's shovelware or lack of HD graphics and serious hardware, the fact remains that Nintendo has always been the innovators and thus far this gen has the largest install base, so the better games will come, in addition to alot of great titles it already has..

Knight-of-NINE

I *sigh* at the poor amount of effort these newbie fanboys put into defending their preferred console. You made this post 3 years too late my friend. Listen to Uncle Yo_Foo. It's time to move on...

The Arena had to raise the music volume and pump in fake cheering noises to drown out the booing.

You can see people booing with their thumbs down in the audience.

Sarah Palin Boo'd at Hockey Game

Pennsylvania looks like they are for Obama.

Rikusaki

that's what happens when politicians try to 'mingle' with the general public. Showing they can live the 'normal' life.

What does the wii have coming this fall?

The harsh reality of competition. I guess owners with PS3s now reap the rewards I stated 'It pays to wait' than having a console focusing more on the cheap fun which the wii is aimed at doing, and has been doing.

Well if we are picking the two most over-rated games in history, then I'd probably have to select Halo 3, as it could be best described as the king of nothing. Brawl is also quite poor as it is no different from its predecessor and offers very little in the way of story and online play. And here I thought the Wii was all about 'Gameplay over graphics' - but it turns out it performs pretty poorly in both. At least you could give Halo 3 the crown as it has some good quality graphics - just a shame that it couldn't be admired on a PS3 as it's an exclusive 360 title (though I probably wouldn't want it ruining the all-star lineup the PS3 offers true gamers).

I personally think Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess was the biggest flop in SW history, if not the gaming world history. You probably wouldn't remember it flopping seeing as most of you were probably not around as long as me, but there was indeed a huge uproar about the fair and 100% accurate review it received. I hereby announce, as System Wars' number 1 poster, that LOZ:TP was the biggest flop of all time.

Super Mario Galaxy definately tops that lists. What a load of tripe for all the praise it got.

hmmm...I hate to say I was right but...

It's too proud of a moment to not say it.

I was right, as usual!

MGS4 will rock your world, let the haters hang their heads in shame! :P

It truly is a proud in the history of gaming! Innovation as well as great story games finally gets their just desserts! What separates this game from games like Warioware and any of the other shovelware you find on the Wii is its compelling story - something you will rarely see on a console aimed purely at a pick up and play environment!

I'm going out on a limb here and saying that from what I've played of the game, it's excellent. It truly is an amazing game. It isn't perfect, but I understand why it received a lot of 10s, I just wouldn't give it a 10 myself as I thought San Andreas was much better :O (so far anyway).
