Here we go again. Yet more unnecessary double dipping. Content that was obviously held back and should of been included in the game when first released. And I thought the stupid season pass 2 was bad enough.
Tried it on Game Pass and love the visuals and music. I found it crazy fast though as you get further through it. Speeds just go ridiculously fast and I found that off putting. Yeh, I know it's only Tetris, but I just got frustrated. Spoilt it a little.
I'm a little concerned about the SSD. Although they say 'custom', what are they saying? PC SSD's have limited writes. What lifespan are we talking? is it new tech that removes this limitation? So when are these in the Series X gonna die? at £450 I hope longer than a PC one.
@lonewolf1044: I've been increasingly disappointed with Steam and their incessant release of pixel/indie trash. I'm a PC fan at heart but this year I'm jumping to the Series X. Frankly bored with PC games at the moment. Steam used to be real good, but over the past few years it really has fallen from grace. The only game I'm playing at the moment on PC (game pass/xbox app) is 'Outer Worlds'. First bit of real fun for months. Play it now for $1/£1 trial for the first month. Released on Steam next month, but great to play for free atm.
IGN's Ryan McCaffery recently said in his review "Well, after playing a couple hours of the off-road-focused Dirt 5 on the Series X, my eyeballs are disappointingly un-melted. That’s not to say Dirt 5 looks bad – that’s not the case at all – but I don’t even think it outclasses 2018’s Forza Horizon 4 in the graphics department. That said, I am thoroughly impressed by the sheer amount of and variety of content on offer."
Wish there was some better games for release of the Series X tbh. Shame Halo Infinite was delayed :/ but understand.
