It's Fire Department Liberty City like its real world counterpart FDNY. Get over it MS has downloadable content PS3 doesn't not that its going to matter that much in September when we're all gonna be bored with the game by June or July. If u have a PS3 buy it for your PS3 and enjoy it. BTW all those game freezing on the PS3 reports are a bit suspicious at best IMO.
The best things about gamespot are the forums & the news. Get your PS3 reviews from IGN, so far they're the most balanced site i've come across when it comes to game reviews across all the platforms.
I only played it for about an hour and this game is absolutely top notch. in fact graphically it's in my opinion of the top 3 best looking titles this year maybe even this generation on any console. In any case after the R&C review i've stopped giving any sort of credence to gamespot ps3 reviews. Usually i come here first then see what everyone else says. Now i do the reverse. Uncharted is a must buy for every action loving PS3 owner. U will not be disappointed.

u must hate the 360 then, considering your need to play in 1080p. since only one console offers 1080p i guess u like ur games on a $2000 PC then.
When every other gaming site gives the game on average a 9 or greater and the review itself only gives the game praise hardly anything bad to say. The score must easily illustrate an unfair and unbalanced one. Doesn't help to curb all the conspiracy theorists out there, but after this can u really blame them.

Where exactly does this m$ has bought the rights to Bioshock? The article is basically stating that the game sold well on the PC and 360 but how does that equal exclusivity, isn't that even more reason for 2k games to release it on another platform. In any case i don't think this is a game PS3 owners would be clamoring for anyway but more games can only help the PS3s cause. Oh well at least starting next few months the games will start rolling in for the PS3. Christmas 07 continuing into 08 will be the make or break year for Sony.
But whats weird is that you can surf the internet while downloading in the background but can't play online, *shrugs*SmokenAshes
It actually makes perfect sense to me. A download may interfere with the online gaming experience (less bandwidth) unless u've got a really fast connection.

where did u get that info? The sales figures i've seen shows them at 3million april 30th.
Learn from the PSX! the original playstation is the sole reason gaming is as big and as influential as it is today. The original playstation sold over 100 million consoles before there were as many gamers as there are today. I think they did learn, corrected their mistakes with the PS2 (lack of power and true online support) and have the exclusives that made the playstation brand what it is today. Playstation owners outnumber Xbox owners 4:1, and only 12.5% of xbox owners are members of xbox live anyway so online isn't as big as people think.
Not to start some war or anything but do u really believe that if M$ shipped 6 million consoles by march of this year they would've sold out? doubt it. Part of this "shortage" i think is to create an artificial demand for the system, Sony on the other hand has at least 75 million PS2 owners anxiously waiting for the PS3. Regardless of your opinion
