@Fiscaldeal its not a matter of being spoiled, people come on a game site to get honest reviews, this review is far from honest. the game is much better than 8.5. its as if a biased rookie reviewed the game.
8.5 game spot ? seriously, game spot standards dropped and blew wey beyond the horizon. go to IGN for a better review, all these reviewers on game spot sucks, they are novices that act as professional game reviewers. forza horizon is the best open world racing game ever made and the most innovative in a long time. you dont have to pay 25 - 100$ us for a car like in need for speed world to race. the graphics are top notch for a 7 year old game console, thumbs down game spot
activision sucks, i consider activision to be the most greedy and then EA is right after. i have better things to do with my money than pay for a useless subscription service for call of duty. i really hope people dont entertain this, or before you know it, you will have to pay to play call of duty online just like world of warcraft players.
@ kazroot i know mass effect is not an exclusive but that does not matter to me, its one of the best games on any platform, its better than any exclusive game sony has ever made. you are trying to say that the 360 has to many first person shooters, but the ps3 has just as much, dust, killzone, mag, resistance, the difference is, the first person shooters on the 360 are actually good.
lol its funny how every one talks about microsoft conference focusing to much on kinect, but no one seems to remember all the crappy ps move games shown for e3 in sony's conference, i suppose if you throw kobe bryant in there like sony did that makes it A okay. there was nothing special about sony's conference, unchartered looked impressive but it was also shown at last years e3, ps fans love to talk about exclusives and most of them always end up being mediocre, just like mag and gran turismo 5. most third party games end up being better than sony's exclusives. the 360 has good exclusives coming out before the end of the year. forza 4 , gears of war 3 and halo anniversary, mass effect 3 comes out in march which is going to keep me occupied almost until e3 2012. next year the new xbox will be revealed along with its launch titles i am super excited.
@rocker6,games are always made on the pc and ported down to the consoles. meaning that the potential is always there. they just dim it down to work on the consoles properly. even though there is piracy on the 360 and the ps3 it is not as rampant as the pc. when you look at the charts, crysis 2 is selling very well because of the console versions of the game. it takes 2 - 3 years to create a good game engine like cry engine 3 and developers would want to capitalize on it by making a profit in the end, and pc gaming is not as profitable as the consoles.
crysis 2 was the best shooter i played in a while. and from a graphical standpoint, it is one of the best looking games on a console to date, on the xbox 360. thats quite an achievement, especially with the aging hardware of the consoles. even though pc gamers are pissed, you cant blame crytek for making a shift to consoles. pc gaming is just not profitable enough for a developer, especially with all the piracy goin on, there are some pc gamers that rather torrent the game than purchase it in the store, and thats the reason why pc gaming keeps going downhill.
windows phone 7 is really cool, the games are good and there are many different hardware wp7 devices to choose from. its not brand specific eg there are phones from dell, samsung, lg, htc just to name a few, and each phone has something unique about it apart from the windows os. eg dell has a windows phone 7 phone called the dell venue pro, and it has gorilla glass, shatter proof glass. each windows phone 7 phone has access to xbox live this makes it much cooler than the iphone. each xbox live game you purchase and play on windows phone 7 has achievements that add into your console game achievement points. overall i say its really good, i intend to get a dell venue pro wp7 phone next year.
its good that gamespot does these graphics comparisons once in a while. i dont like to state that one console is better than the other, however i have my own personal choice. but the ps fans are the worst. they wait for 2 whole years to get 1 good title and then proclaim ps3 is the best console and then they say that it is graphically superior to the 360. lol but its a bit amusing sometimes. i also have my issues with the 360 as well, the red ring problem, unless you have a jasper model. the ps3 also has problems as well, just not as common, the yellow lights happen to many people.
