Ah, sorry didn't realise it was game specific :D
probably Oblivion has taken up the most time, but Bad Company 2 took up around the 100 hours mark.

Usually I'm on a few hours a day, but it depends on whether a publisher has sent me a game I need to get finished quick. In that case I can spend waaaaaay too much time on the Xbox lol.

Hi folks,

I'm 19, currently doing an English Literature degree and pretty interested in branching out into the gaming scene in terms of writing when i'm older, be it working for a company such as GameSpot by doing reviewing, or even writing for popular RPG companies. Clearly this is a long way away, but where do you start? What are the kind of pre-requisites these companies are looking for? I may be getting some experience with a newspaper in the coming weeks which is a positive, but does anyone else have any tips or background knowledge of this kind of thing?

Getting into the business is easier than you think: just get a blog and get writing.
Now actually getting a big company to notice you is tough, but it also depends if you'd rather write for yourself.

I've had a few offers from the likes of CVG, but denied then because writing for myself is just better, but it doesn't pay as well :D

The important thing to remember is getting into the biggest companies is damn hard, so be careful with your hopes and don't be too gutted to recieve a good few "no's"

I played the demo several times--they finally got Batman right in a video game!

Despite not liking the demo all that much, I agree completely with this. I think the game played just how Batman should play. He kicks butt when he needs to but for the most part he's lurking in the shadows taking guys out and "detectiving" things up. I think with that perspective I would like the game more, so I might go back and play through it again.

the demo actually made me feel like batman and i found myself thingking "is this what it would be like to be Batman?" so thats a major selling point for me.

To break the glass ceilings walk ontop of it and wait for a guard to walk below it then press Y when the icon appears. I love the demo i keep loading the last checkpoint in the last room to mess with the guards.xxmatt125xx
lol the takedown through the glass is good, but a bit noisy :)

is it true he can't jump? So no jump attacks??? I think he looks too muscular to be supposedly that agile. :)

feryl06
