From what I've been hearing, this movie is similar to Pulp Fiction, right?Funkdaddy13well, it's two movies, none of them are like Pulp Fiction really... first one is an over-the-top zombie movie second one is a thriller movie along the lines of Jason, Freddy, etc. except with knives, he uses a car

[QUOTE="F4vRe"][QUOTE="Kikouken"]I won't watch Grindhouse. Muwahahaha. KikoukenIts a good thing that your missing out and not me. I'm not missing out on much cept for a girl with a gun on her leg....I've seen people with guns on their arms like Samus, but on your leg? Come on. -_- THAT PART IS FOUR MINUTES LONG! the movie is 3 hours +, it has a lot more things people like me and my friends talk about than the Machine Gun Leg, get over it for some reason, thats the number one complaint with people that hasn't seen it, I don't know why
Can you go through a commercial brake on most male-oriented channels without seeing Grindhouse commercials? plus it got acclaimed reviews by most of the pressBlades of Glory appeals to younger crowds and they don't have to see it with parents. Since Grindhouse is a rated "R" movie and probably doesn't appeal to many parents as a movie to see with the family, I can understand why it was beat by some of the other movies.
300 had more of a overall appeal to more people because it was an action movie that looked like anyone could enjoy thus it did better in the box office. Also, Grindhouse didn't get as much press as other movies, so you have to take that into consideration too.

[QUOTE="xxPantherxx"][QUOTE="The_PirateKing"]~-~How about I just say it's not my cup of tea.~-~The_PirateKinghow do you know? what is your cup of tea then?~-~Not movies for starters.:| They're too short to really get anywhere... That's all I can think of. I'm not sure what my cup of tea is quite yet.>.> Something along the lines of Shadow of the Colossus.~-~ ahh, so your not into movies, eh btw, Shadow of the Colossus would not work as a movie, it has to be an interactive experience :)
I don't understand why you guys are getting upset at people that don't want to see the movie. It is their choice if they don't want to sit there and watch a movie they may or may not enjoy. spinecatonIt got beat by Blades of Glory on it's second weak BLADES OF GLORY! I did not laugh but only about 3 times... Grindhouse could be one of the funniest movie in years(competing with Borat) not only that, it's got some of the best action scenes in a good while(Tarantino's car stunt is really worth the entry fee alone) great acting great dialog/character developing and a whole bunch of blood what is there not to like about it, I can accept if people are too queazy to see it, but thats the only excuse IMO

[QUOTE="xxPantherxx"][QUOTE="The_PirateKing"]~-~Yea I'ma gonna be skipping that one there.:|~-~The_PirateKingdo you have a reason for not seeing the best movie value offer you will get in your life? seriously, I would prefer any of these movies over any movie made so far this year, and Death Proof is the best movie I've seen this year and someone give Kurt Russel a damn award....~-~How about I just say it's not my cup of tea.~-~ how do you know? what is your cup of tea then?
