Hey, at least it's not Starforce. It came with the Ubersoldier demo a few years ago and deleted my Windows User folder. Deleted as in wiped it out without a trace, including all the documents and save games.

NewbAmoeba
wait... why in the hell? That's extremely severe. I have documents in those folders that have taken me endless hours to produce and compile... and you're saying something like that was all erased because of a demo? Please continue, or, at least elaborate..

Make backups?

They still haven't fixed grenade spam in online FPS games? I still remember it from the original CoD and Medal of Honor AA. It didn't seem like a complicated problem to fix...

I had this problem too, I was trying to install FOIP, but unfortunately it lacked a step by step installation guide and I'm a complete idiot, so it didn't go well. I assumed I didn't install it correctly and the mods were conflicting. I tried using only a few, FOOK 2 and MMM, but it still happened. I finally just gave up, reinstalled Fallout 3, used only FOOK 2 and it worked fine. I'm guessing its caused maybe by a mod or something, just reinstall, patch, play a bit to make sure it works.

Ah sorry, I thought you meant the side quests like the 50 million you get from the Alliance. I am a little confused though, if your in Exogeni the only side quest I can think of there is
the one where some tech guy asks you to upload him some data. If so that quest has no impact on ME 2 as far as I'm aware, if it does its so small I haven't seen it my 3-4 playthroughs. I'm guessing the hard part is with the Krogan, I don't think I was able to abuse the AI there in any major way to make it easier. You can always just keep falling back and shooting them while they are running through the open rooms. Just focus on one at a time, hitting him with a bunch of powers. Lift and Throw are nice to avoid getting charged and preventing them from using their hardened health thing.
Hopefully I'm thinking of the right quest this time =S I kept forgetting to turn this one in too, the only reason I ever went back to hand it in was because I wanted to see if reaching the max level and importing to ME 2 gave any special bonuses, it doesn't seem to though.

I found some of the side quests hard too. Are you talking about the ones with the Pirates that just run around screaming "GO GO GO GO!!"? Ssooo damn annoying, they were pretty hard to kill for me, not to mention they had abilities to regenerate their shields and to turn into super tanks. For those guys I would just use two biotic companions, keep them out of the way so they don't take any damage, wait near the entrance for one of the Pirates to run along, and keep hitting him with Lifts and Throws to prevent him from using abilities while I charge up close for maximum damage if possible, then run tail back to the entrance and wait for another. There's probably an easier/faster way, but it worked for me. You can also hit them in big groups once your companions get higher levels of Lift and other abilities with bigger AoEs, a lot faster. I also remember some with crazy biotics, I just waited at the entrance for that one too =P They would swarm and overwhelm me with biotic powers if I went too far in. Though some levels it isn't always possible to run in without getting overwhelmed so you may want to stay at a distance. Basically abuse the AI so that they come to you, easier to defend then to go in and avoid getting swarmed. Be sure to get in a few melee bashes while they are stuck in the air, good way to let off nerd rage. XP

The name is really obvious.RichardStallman
Ya, if it were legit it would probably send you to some Battlenet.com address, but if you haven't played in a while you wouldn't have been around for the accounts being merged into Bnet. Not to mention they tell you not to log into any sites other then the www.worldofwarcraft.com
Im not sure I played the same game.

Lots of people on the DAO forum have the same opinion. I mean they get people complaining that the packs of Wolves are the hardest thing in the game because you can't just auto attack and expect to win like most other fights.

I feel Dragon Age's problems are more about the gameplay then bugs, the only problem I remember encountering was the memory leaks, it would slowly start taking forever to load anything. As for the gameplay, there are lots of things that just make it too easy. Like being able to pull single enemies at a time, all you have to do is play a ranged character to discover this problem, so I have no idea how they let this pass. Then there's the fact that 90% of the enemies feel the same, they just run up and start bashing you. They have no special abilities to make things more interesting and challenging or their abilities just aren't a big enough threat to worry about. Not to mention all you need to take out the regular enemies is a single party member. A mage can run in, Cone of Cold, Living Bomb, then Stone Boulder (what ever its called) the Living Bombed target and the rest of the group dies with one or two hits. Then once you get Improved Living Bomb its just a joke. I can only think of a few enemies that had some interesting abilities that made it enjoyable to play. For example
When you are in the beginning parts of the Werewolf Lair, there's a ghost of a kid speaking some old language, he disappears and your ambushed by 10 or so Shield Bashing Skeletons. The first time I played this part it caught me off guard and they Shield Bashed my group to death. Of course the next time all I needed to do was group them into the hallway and Cone of Cold them...
I was also a little disappointed with the bosses, few of them had any unique abilities to mix things up. The only thing that made them a challenge was they had a lot of health and some hit pretty hard. Instead of giving them abilities to use, they just throw some regular enemies in the mix, nothing some Mage CC can't handle. Lets not forget you can just hit them with a Hex or two and the bosses go down like nothing, I don't think we should have been able to use Hexes on bosses. Then there's the Potions that you can use every few seconds, so you don't need to worry about your heal being on cool down. Bosses are essentially just regular enemies on steroids.I wish they had made more bosses like
The Poison Queen Spider(I forget the name). That fight was so fun if you didn't use Potions or Balms. You needed to keep one of your characters in her face to avoid getting hit with the spit attacks which really hurt, but she keeps going up into the webs and dropping back somewhere else in the room. I wish she dropped in more random spots though. Then there's the Spider adds, not just a regular bashing enemy, you had to make sure they didn't overwhelm you. This boss was the best in the game in my opinion. If they had made more that had interesting elements like this it would have been great.
There just aren't enough elements in the fights to make them challenging and enjoyable, what you do to take out one group of enemies will likely work for the next group, and the group after that, and so on. There are few fights where you need to actually stop and think, "How am I going to do this?". Like when fighting a group of enemies that has a Mage. They can be a serious threat if you let them just sit there and cast spells, so you have change your strategy to take them out first and avoid getting hit by their spells in the process, then you can take down the other enemies. Other then these gameplay issues, I think the game is great and I hope they address these issues in future games.Sorry for the wall of text, GS wont let me use Spoiler tags and Enter at the same time...
