Personally, I always felt DKC was an excellent platformer. As has been said, it had many interesting and unique concepts, and even if some of these had been done before, the execution in DKC was very well-done, although there were some noticeable mistakes. Many excellent games haven't necessarily had ground-breaking innovations, but this doesn't mean they aren't excellent games. In any case, I always found the DKC series to have a different feel from other platformers.

Definitely Propellerhead. Reminded me a bit of the flying power-ups from other Mario games, which I sucked at using. Luckily Propellerhead was easier. It's my favorite of any Mario power up besides maybe Tanuki.
Wow, this is great. I was already really looking forwards to DKCR and this has just made me want it more.
I am a huge fan of Professor Layton, and I don't really like Phoenix Wright. I'll probably get the game anyways.
Yeah. I like to think that's the upper limit, but the truth is I'd pay anything up to 400 dollars. The lineup is too good to pass up.
Kirby: Epic Yarn, Epic Mickey, and DKC Returns all look so good :/ Dunno how I'm gonna pay for all of them though.
Meh, it looked all right. I personally think that as far as Wii FPS go, Conduit 2 looks better though.
I'd give a 7 out of 10. A lot of the games weren't great, and the selection wasn't awesome. It did have some really great games though, the SMG series for example, as well as several others. That was almost all first party stuff though.
The Perfect Run really upset me. But even more than that, the Rainbow Road purple coins level was just so frustrating. I almost broke one of my Wii remotes from sheer frustration.
I liked most of the purple coin levels though, or at least the ones that involved platforming.
Well, my ideal concepts for a Wii game have already been done, Super Mario Galaxy 2 as well as Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Maybe a Super Smash Bros. Brawl with a story mode that involved decent platforming mechanics, although I'm not sure that would actually work out.
