On day 1 I called this...that MS would change everything before the release date...the only thing I was wrong about is that they did not change the price but theres still a long while before release date.

@NeecHMonkeY with music cds, its a bit different since most people just want to buy 1 or 2 songs instead of an entire album, and blu ray replaced dvds but there still a nice chunk of blu ray for sale but with netflix and hulu, a lot of people are starting to get less materalistic and not collectiong every horrid movie that came out over the past 20 years and just streaming the crappy movies on those services instead. but with gaming, its a mega long download for a full game and gamers tend to love their physical collections over digital especially for their favorite series.

@DiamondDM13 @xotheusedguyox yeah, since the orginal playstation, all ive owned are playstations. so i was not defending MS. just saying its not hard to for them to drop the price $100

but cant MS just lower the xbox price to 399 by launch to be more competative? i think the used game part would be harder to change but they could easily drop the price, right?

i always wait 1 year after systems are released to buy a new one so the price goes down and bugs are worked out but im not crazy about any of these next gen systems mainly because none allow old games...maybe they will all be for sale digitally but if that's not the case then ill be disappointed because the only games i play are ratchet and nhl so if i cant play old ratchet games theres no point to buy a new system unless of course a new ratchet game was exclusive to it....really don't understand why it cant read all discs...SMH

xbox one seems more like a modified ps3

@Sweetew @xotheusedguyox they could at least have made it an option in a higher priced model but from what i read it wouldn't really have been something they could of done

both PS and XBOX don't allow us to use our old games on the new system which i don't like...i know they say why buy a new system to play old games but i still like to have only 1 system set up and play my favorite game series old games over again and again along with new games

i always preferred playstation mainly since the mid 90s that what i switched to from Nintendo and just kind of stuck with it but im no fanboy i think all the systems are soo similar but ratchet is playstation only so i got to stick with playstation
