Since my PS3 is hooked up to an HDTV, I can't stand the graphics. If I don't upscale, everything seems stretched out. If I upscale, the picture won't fit the whole screen. So, whenever I play PS2 games I'm constantly switching up between upscale or normal graphics just to "get a better picture", and because of that, I really don't enjoy playing my old games.
I'd forget about Turok and Dark Sector. So, my top three are: 3) Devil May Cry 4, 2) Ninja Gaiden Sigma, 1) Burnout Paradise. Also, Burnout Paradise has been updated recently to include more game modes, cars and enhancements. You can also expect support for the Trophy system.
That's the way it used to be when people just enjoyed playing games. For me, this all "fanboyism" started with the PlayStation vs. N64 era and it shows no end...
I have a PS3, but I'm wondering if any of you other PS3 owners really believe in Sony's PS3 promises. So far, I feel Xbox 360 owners are getting all the love from third-party publishers; not only because they get more titles, but because on top of that, the games usually fare better on Microsoft's system. I do think that Sony has far more varied and fun first-party games, which Xbox lovers just have to dream about. How long will it take for Sony to surpass Xbox 360 in the U.S.? I think Sony is doing better overall, but they need to get back the 3rd party support if they want to really shine this generation. Or else they will become another Nintendo.
Well, I'm curious since I got the 60 GB and after all the hating about the system's price and whatnot, now that it's discontinued, it has become the most sought-after out of all PS3's... which one do you have?
I'd have to say that Grand Theft Auto IV is by far the most overrated PS3 game. I played Saints Row on Xbox 360 so many of the "new" things GTAIV had didn't blew me away, since I already played them on Saints Row. I still think Saints Row is a way better game.
