Whats the game about? And are you developing it with a company or with your computer or something?xTheExploited

Currently, I am developing the game by myself but I hope to obtain funding inorder to get more help to develope the game.

The game is about one on one fighting, but story focused. I love storytelling and am constantly studying literature so interactive storytelling will be a huge part of fighting experience. That's generally what the game is about.

Hello everyone,
This is a game I have been developing for the past 4 months and I thought I would share it with everyone to see what you guys think of it. The game is being made for the Xbox 360 and Windows XP/Vista.

For information regarding the game, check out my recent blog posts.

Edit: For those who where wondering, this is a 2D fighting game that was developed with XNA.

For a long time it used to be FFVIII intro scene. But now it would have to be the intro of FFVI. It just shows how awsome FFVI would be if they remake it on the PS3.

[QUOTE="OhhSnap50893"][QUOTE="Sentinelrv"]It might sound fun to others, but if I was to actually start the HCU over from scratch for some reason, I wouldn't like the idea of having limited abilities at the start. I would need all the features to help make a better union, and waiting for them would be annoying.Sentinelrv
true but if you're gonna turn into a great union you'd have to be satisfied witgh your current resources. And imagine a new leader having all that stuff, he wouldn't know what to do with himself :|

Why does everybody in this thread seem to assume people are dumb and wouldn't know how to use these features. It may look complicated in the designs, but once you get into it, it's really easy to understand what's going on. I don't think people would have a big problem getting used to it.

Sorry for the late reply. School just started and it has began killing me. Now the reason I proposed the leveling/reward system idea was because many unions won't need all those features that you presented in your site enhancement. I am sure most people will be able to figure out how to use it but the question is will they need it? Most unions are nothing more then discussion boards and I doubt they will need does features. Other unions such your site enhancement union or some of the photoshop design union may only need a few of them. And then there are the fan based union like my Final Reunion and your HCU that would most likely make use of all those features. So what I am proposing is a system that will give the unions the features that they need.

Perhaps it would be better if the unions picked a category to be in (design site, fan site, music site, discussion site, etc.). And depending what category the union picks it would get the features it needs right off the bet instead of waiting and earning them like I proposed previously. The unions that are under the music category would get features such being able to play music in their union. Unions in the design category will have features that will allow them to set up design contests, and a design libarary. While unions under the fan site category will have all the features you just proposed in this thread. And unions under the discussion category will be like UCB's or like the way the unions are right now.

its ridiculous that they havent given a response in so long, im beginning to think that this may not happen at all.....well....if they dont make the enhancements for the headcrab union, they should do it for all of the good unions out there that need the enhancements as well.REVOLUTIONfreak

I doubt they would do this just for the Headcrab union, not even for all the good unions. If they are going to make a version 2 then it will be for all unions. However, I believe that there will be (or should be) a class system which gives a union a certain types of power. For example, a new union would start at the lowest class. The union will only have the features that all unions currently have (a board and a homepage for posting news, nothing much). As they union grows and gets better it would get promoted to the next class "if neccassary." The next class could give the union some new features to work with such as a few widgets. And the next class after that would give it some more until the union gets to the higest class which will give the union all the features that Sentinelrv has presented in this thread.

lol, I think I just came up with another site enhancement idea. I think this class ranking system would be so much better then useless level system we have right now.

Though I am going to be getting a PS3, I am far more excited with Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon then I am with FFXIII. Lost Odyssey definetly looks like it will surpass FFXIII. Afterall Lost Odyssey is being made by the FF creator himself. I think your choice to stick with the X360 instead of the PS3 was a wise one on your part. But I hope you will be able to get them both one day. I know I will.

Funny how this union went completely downhill right after Soulja left. It really shows how much of an effect his leadership had on this union. And I wouldn't say that this is junkies fault. A union demands a great deal of attention, quality attention that is. And so far I have not seen much effort from the officers. The have seen some effort from Master_Odin, thus the reason my vote goes for him.

Unfortunately, you can't change it. Once you pick your name it's as perminent as a scar.

Hey, Sent. Congrats on getting so much support for this site enhancement. I didn't even notice it up until now because I was busy developing a game with my independent game development studio. I read the post you made at the HCU about the conversation you and Greg had and I seriously think you should consider getting a job there. I mean, Greg even suggested for you to fill out an application. I really think if you work there for a few years you could obtain the job of Community manager or Community site director. Or perhaps even "Union" director. ;) You would be perfect for the job. I can't imagine anyone more fitting for it then you. Seriously, gamespot should have a team that is completely dedicated to developing and managing the union system, and you should be at front if it, directing the team.
