hmmm saw that screen somewhere before... I'm sure of it. Anyways, I'm so excited about any game team ico makes and this time, they'll make 2 games!!!! *faintz*

Arath_1

I agree that this screenshot seems strangely familiar, maybe its a deja vu thing. As to the next Team Ico game, its funny that just yesterday I was talking to my flatmates while one of them experienced the awesomeness that is Shadow of the Colossus for the first time, how I couldn't wait to see what they could do on next generation hardware. Should be amazing!

Hey there Arath. Haven't seen you in along time! But yeah, anything comming from TeamICO is bound to be good. But I am still sticking to my original theory that the game will have something to do with flying. But we'll see...

Yes. Currently it is a staff-only feature.

While I would personally like to see this enhancement, I believe that is far too open to abuse. There are just so many possibilities for it to go wrong - and for GS to be held accountable. So while I would personally like to see this, I think it's too scary a possibility too offer too all.

Dracula68

I am by no means an expert on this but I believe you're right with all the problems it opens up for abuse.

Well that's the thing. I understand that it's very much open to abuse, but so is posting images on Gamespot, uploading videos on gamespot. and posting website links on gamespot. They are all equally open to abuse, hence why we have moderaters. So being able to embeded Youtube videos on Gamepsot blogs causes no greater threat then being able to upload videos to gamespot. To me it seems very strange for Gamespot to not allow us to post Youtube videos on gamespot. It's as if they are in a competition against Youtube, and want their users to use their video uploading system instead of Youtube's? Talk about monopolizing the system. For me honestly its very irritiating as I am a long and loyal member of Gamespot. So I strongly support this enhancement and hope that Gamespot will let us embeded Youtube videos on Gamespot sooner then later.

I have uploaded a demo of the game. So if you guys want to give it a try you can download it at this link:

http://www.gameprojects.com/project/?id=12c70cbf6b

Feedback would be greatly appriciated since the game is still in its early stage of development and needs a lot of work of course.

Excellent start! But I expect to see something at least as awesome as Guilty Gear XXin terms of animation. Got that!?! :P Keep it up. :)

EnderSR388

Oh definetly, I would be dissapointed if the final version didn't have as good animation asGuilty Gears XX. I'll definetly do best.... no, I need to do better then my best.

Reminds me of Jade Empire.cybermario

Really. Never thought of that. My visual arts inspiration was mostly based off Shadow of the Colossus.

Yes, I am developing the game with XNA. The game itself will not be a arcade game, and no decisions have been made as how the game itself will be distributed. My goal is to develope a 2D fighting game equivelant to todays commercial titles.

As for some tips or tutorials to get you started developing games yourself, I would recommed http://www.xnatutorial.com/ for beginners. They have a lot video turitorials to get you started with developing games through XNA. That's where I began 7 months ago learning how program with XNA. It takes a lot of time a dedication to learn and develope games, but once you see the fruit of labor, its worth it.

I plan to spend at least 2 years developing the game. So I have long way to go. Microsoft is currently invistigating the game, so if they like it, it will most likely be released on Xbox Live.
