Storytelling is a fantastic thing to have in games. If you have the gameplay to go with the story, you immerse yourself in the game, and you may or may not even notice that fact. SPOILERS FOLLOW!!! Take Heavy Rain as a terrific example: The story, along with each action that you take, determines what will happen. You are faced with choices, and you will try to make all of the right choices for you. You will be shocked at what happens, and if you fail at a certain task, such as saving your son, then you will feel as though you failed.

Revolver Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid is probably my favorite villain of any game. And, even though little is known about her thus far, I do think the Locust Queen from Gears of War is also a great one.

@Barighm Just in case you don't know, they removed the pistol headshot with TU6. The Boltok pistol could still, yes, but the snub pistol could no longer. The Gorgon Burst never could in the first place.

@Dunbon I agree and disagree at the same time. Do I miss the lobbies, yes. Though do I prefer matchmaking as well? Yes too. I think they should have both, meaning you can have "Quick Ranked/Social(player for those who don't play Gears)" which uses the matchmaking system, and then the lobby system as well if you are looking for specifics, like maps, rounds, etc.. Though no one can deny, Gears 3 looks to be the pinnacle of this generation. Yes, I am a Gearhead since the day the original was announced, but I say this with no bias. It will be one seriously awesome game.

@ bumbum1991 Slowly but surely. They don't try to change anything, which is what more developers should be like when creating sequels etc... They add more, and it works.

@ commander1122 Far Cry 2 wasn't that bad, though it wasn't a great game either. Game AI as a whole continues to get better throughout the industry. I wont be surprised if in the future, AI could become even more robust and lifelike even if you look ten years from now. But as long as games continue to make great, or at least decent AI, there is no arguments here. :D
