Hey all,
It has been a year since I was here. I was a founding member with Curlfro, just thought I would drop by and say hi. This place seems to be doing well. I'm glad to know fellow GoW lovers exist! Hope everyone is doing well! Feels good to come back.
I've been wondering. I don't really play games on my PC, but I'll occasionally download a demo or something to pass the time. My graphics card is fine, but the frame-rate sucks. Sometimes it can be extremely smooth, and other times it will literally freeze up. It appears like a slide show, moving slowely. What causes this, and is there anything I can do to fix this?curlfroWhat do you consider a "fine" graphics card? Do you know how to check for updated drivers? Check the res settings on your comp as well, sometimes they conflict with required settings for downloadable games.
[QUOTE="ownage1020"]Yeah. But you have to admit that for a fixed camra, it was pretty well done. The only gripe I have with fixed camera angles is this, the game isn't fully recognized. If you can't look at everything and explore it then it is just polygonal waste. That is why I love RPG games. They leave no stone unturned (for the most part). If I had a gripe with GoW it would be the difficulty of the boss fights. They just weren't hard enough and were too pattern oriented for me. I would have also loved more puzzles. They did puzzles correctly; they were fun, innovative, and not overly frustrating or difficult but provided a good level of challenge. Overall it is an amazing game and there isn't much to even dislike, let alone hate.I think it needed better camera angles.

It's going to be bad for the union when school starts. We're not going to be able to post nearly as much. (Having half the day taken up by school doesn't leave much time to post.)curlfroSee that is always my problem. Even when I am not in school I work. I only ever have half the day because on weekends I m traveling with my performance group.
