@gifford38: uh... the developer of all the previous metal gear games is no longer with konami. (he left after MGS5, made a new studio... this news is really hard to miss)

but konami continues to monetize his franchise in his absence, because they own the license to the intellectual property, as the publisher.

anything they make without him will not feel like the real thing.

@majikayo666: well each area will be layered to 25 players. but if a server load issue happens at launch / open beta - due to popularity - that could be trouble. idk.

@saint311: unless they actually bring new season content to eternal after each season ends.. eternal will have no content. i haven't heard blizzard's plans for eternal. we all just know how path of exile does it, and expect blizzard to do the same, but that's not a thing as of yet.

also, almost nobody plays POE default (eternal). it is considered a dead league where all the retired characters go when a season ends.

blizzard could solve the lack of content on eternal by making an altered reward track that gives all season rewards to those on eternal not participating... but without new content i doubt it would be successful.
