To combat prices could sony just replace the blue ray drive with a standard hd dvd or dvd drive to help combat and raise sells? or do the games that are made strickly for blue ray? I think it would be a nice surprise that they announce something at E3 with the option of getting a reg dvd player or blue ray depending on what you want and willing to pay.

Every PS3 game so far is a bluray disc, and a few of them can't even fit on a dvd (ie: MGS4 and Uncharted) it would be nice to see some of the smaller multiplat games for PS3 on dvd though, then they could read faster. Plus bluray is amazing why get rid of something that sells the system?
The boss fights in R2 blew me away, I was amazed that an FPS would have stuff like that. That game wasn't the best graphically, but one dang good game. KZ2 was amazing as well... Co-op would've been nice, but everything else was so mind boggling that I forgot about it. idk which is better, they're both real good.

no, and make sure if your looking for a backwards compatible one you look for the 60GB sku. yeah, the 60gb is definitely the best PS3 made to date (well except for that one at E3 with original specs that was never released :P ) It works great and has all the features.
