Seriously why does every good review have to turn into Sony vs Microsoft? Neither is going anywhere, both have their pros and cons. Play what you enjoy playing and go on with your day. If your only a PlayStation player why the hell even look here? If you hate racing games, why the hell are you reading this? If you are a true gamer, you have all the consoles and enjoy a variety of games. No one said you had to stick to one...you can own them all and be quite happy.

@Blazen702: yeah the last of us,Horizon Zero Dawn and God of war are the only games that are on my radar. But also silly to bring the console wars here.

@borkgordon: yeah I mean what's next more games that promote violence etc? What is this world coming too? You should start a petition for more games like Dora and Sesame Street. Save our youth!

Simply the best racing game I have ever played. There is no contest right now on any other system or even on the xbox one. A fun and exciting game and a great change of pace.

@runstalker: sorry man, Horizon zero dawn is the last and only ps4 game I plan to get and that is in February. After that I will sell my entire Sony library and just stick with the Xbox one and its futures consoles. It's where I play the most and enjoy the most from my games and its just stupid for me to keep supporting a system I simply don't believe in. I prefer to stand with Microsoft, the games I have already invested in and the future system where my game library will carry over. I don't need to sell anyone on it. They will see for themselves.

@runstalker: yeah ok. But it's still over a year away and I don't think they are doing it for something minor but to build more upon it. Either way on that subject I am a console player so that actual feature isn't really useful to me except to play around with recording and backing up games or saves etc. I do t think though that it's meant for just a few titles and calling it a day. I think it's their first step into something larger. But still I think it's awesome that PC players get to be included. Of all gamers out there since consoles went so mainstream it seems the pc got shafted more so than the others as companies were using exclusives to sell their product. Although they still are, it's awesome that MS is sharing with the pc community. With mods now coming into play, it would be nice to get the support from the pc community in helping establish some awesome content for those of us who do play on consoles. I mean I just really think it's cool. But I also believe there is more at play here than we all know. It's the first time a company is sharing like that and trying to do so without charging double etc. I could be wrong, I just think there is more to it involving the end game there. If it gets all the support from additional developers etc, it could really grow into something. You have to agree the potential here could be great or worse case, players on both Xbox and pc systems get to enjoy some awesome games to come. I don't take offense to that. Feel like it's the right thing to do. The only thing to really worry about is if it were to steal actual additional income to the Xbox player base. But with what they are doing beyond the pc and including everything, not to mention putting out a powerful system really does show ms is trying. Not with greed but it feels like it's for the gamer. They didn't have to do bc but they did. The next system really improves upon that. They didn't have to share exclusives which are designed or were designed to sell systems, yet they are. That deserves a nod doesn't it?

@skiggy34: perhaps, until we are playing it and seeing just what it all entails, I don't know, but that still doesn't change being able to back up your stuff or playing those games on the pc. If it's certain games, then it's certain games but it's for sure ms exclusives. I said above I play on consoles so for me the thing I like most is being able to back up my stuff. But still they are stepping up and giving support to the pc community. I don't think it's something that will stay small and be obsolete. Instead something they intend to build upon. Plus it's just an option as I am sure you have to have an Xbox to be able to play those exclusives. I don't think they will launch different versions of the games. Unless it's via digital downloads but still if you only have to buy the game once and be able to play it on your Xbox and pc...it's not something being done lightly right? I truly think they are trying to bring the pc into the fold. Not as some useless feature as that really makes no sense right? It all depends on how it's implemented. I know you can stream everything on your Xbox to the pc. Even if it's to record. If games are being done the same way, be kinda hard not to include them all. But that also isn't just up to ms. That's up to each publisher. What they want their game to be played on. I understood it as a stream, perhaps it is but just for recording or backups etc. but it's still just another extra feature and ms is still giving pc players support with the games they can at no extra charge. So that much is true.

@leon00x: I am not against Sony. I happily own a PS3, ps4, 360 and xbox one. But the way Microsoft is doing things now and how they are handling and setting up the future is the way it should be done. Gaming is an investment, we put in thousands of hours, but countless games and accessories etc and I feel that not only should the next systems be powerful (like the Scorpio) but that what we pay for and invest in should go with us. I'm not talking about the neo which I don't really get (another discussion), but I know right now that next year when the Scorpio launches, everything I own goes with me to it. The elite controller, my saves, my digital purchases, dlc, games for gold and the backwards compatibility. Plus you can pop over and play any of those games on the pc. It doesn't cost you anything to do that. So you can back up your saves or store games and of course play. I don't have a high end pc rig, I prefer consoles. But knowing I can back that stuff up there is really cool.

Plus giving pc players love. If you look at what they are doing, they are giving us all the games to play on one console, they are adding in the pc to the Xbox family, and making a console that is powerful enough to be in the same ballpark as a great gaming pc. They are basically about to take on steam as well. Sure there is a catch, you have to own an Xbox I'm sure but still it's worth it. They aren't looking at it as a next gen console even though it is. It's like they are eliminating that whole thought process. Instead putting out a console that simply has the power to really go far. I like buying my games digitally. It eliminates me trading in my games, allowing me to build a collection. If I am truly unsure about the game I will get the disc version but still my gaming library is just getting massive. Right now the only thing keeping me in the loop with Sony is the few exclusives yet I have to have 3 consoles all hooked up to play. The PS3 is only still with me for a few rare exclusives and games like Demon Souls.

But we are past buying new consoles and starting over. It's time that everything goes with you when you upgrade. I forgave for the lack of PS3 support on the ps4. But still it's aggravating cause of games I own digitally like ff7. I have to pay twice for it on the ps4 cause I bought it on the PS3. That to me is just wrong. Like buying an iPhone 6, paying for music and games etc then when you upgrade to the iPhone 7 you have to rebuy everything. No way none of us would let that fly, but we do here with Sony right now. It can't be line that again. The Neo does t count as its like the xbox one s but they didn't add more power, just upgraded it for 4K tvs. The neo is getting more power....on why? The only reason is because they have games that will use it, making it so you have to buy a neo to play them. I could be wrong there but they aren't telling us anything, why? Where as ms has straight laid out all the cards on the table. I know that future is secure.

Yeah I k ow it's a long post and I am not trying to be a fanboy here. I am just stating the facts as a gamer we should all have this already. How is Sony going to compete with what ms is doing and the Scorpio? Cause yeah it's a beast and right out of the gate we will have thousands of games to play and the power that will truly give us spectacular games. I don't loose anything when I upgrade. I won't purchase a game digitally on my PS3 or 4. Because I just don't trust the secret crap and loosing my digital property. Sony has to step up their game. If they do, I will gladly own both cause it is about the games. But if they don't....do what they have always done, then I am out. I will miss a few exclusives but I can't support something like that again. It simply isn't fair to any of us. We all bought games digitally for our PS3, it all should have flowed to the ps4. Whatever comes next has to do that. Plus with the neo, is it a must buy then another must buy soon after cause they have to compete with ms and in order to do that put out another console. Is it gonna be stand alone or are they going to make it to where all our Sony products and games etx are included. Or do we once again start over. This time though ms has serious weight behind it. The ps4 might be slightly more powerful but that is coming to an end real soon. The way ms is doing it is truly the right way for us as gamers. Especially when it comes to our wallets. But ok end of my speech lol. I am not a fanboy, just saying that things are getting real here. When do you draw a line? It's your money and your entertainment. I just know where I am for sure investing.
