For me, it was the mid to late 90's. The age of flight sims like X-Wing, TIE-Fighter, Freespace 1 & 2, and some seriously indepth RPGs like Baldur's Gate, Planescape, Arcanum (patched of course).

i have the same problem, it shows i have 14 GS emblems, but when i click the link only 10 show up. been this way for about 2 months so i figured it was just the way it was.
also many of my game emblems are linked to the correct game, but the pictures have changed to other games, which is really weird. Raptr is fine, so i can only guess it's a Fuse syncing issue. and still haven't gotten Reader's choice awards even tho i voted in every category.
so...that's it. wait, the pizza guy delivered the wrong toppings on my pizza, i'mma just gunna blame ya'll for that too! :)
I voted in every category, when i checked back a few days later, my votes were still in place. however a few days after that my votes were gone as if i had to re-vote again. i didn't want to thinking it was a glitch and that the tallies were correct.
i think i should have gotten the voting emblem and the dark horse one as well since hardly any of the games i voted for were winners. but i have yet to receive anything.
on a seperate topic, a whole bunch of my acheivement icons have changed to different game emblems. the descriptions are correct, but the icons are different. my Raptr is correct, but not GS.
sooo many RPGs over my long PC gaming life.
but one that stands out among them all is: Planescape: Torment. absoltuely brilliant.
Then Baldur's Gate II
Then TES: Daggerfall and Morrowind.
From ther the list really gets muddled.
The game is worth a lot more than $6 for the single player campaign alone.
the PC version has some technical glitches (all can be worked around though) so be prepared to do a bit of internet rummaging to find a handful of quick fixes. otherwise, once your going it's a lot of fun.
The MP is really empty though.
After the PS2 hardware support was removed it seems that each time a new SKU is released there is more options removed. The slim's don't support other OS's like the phat systems did. I have one of the 60 systems and every time I see one of these threads it makes me feel that much better about spending the money on the first PS3's released.jimm895
ditto, the first 2games i owned for my PS3 were PS2 games. oh how fun :)
[QUOTE="nutcrackr"]Sounds pretty good, but how much of the game is with companions? Also they talk about a timed conversation system, I don't recall the first one caring if you took 10 minutes to answer dialogue?Im_singleI was thinking the same thing to be honest (About the dialogue) GS seems to think that the first had timed dialogue? I don't recall it having that at all. The game looks fantastic, and if it is anything like the first it will be phenomenal.
maybe the article writer was referring to certaine vents and dialogue available only during day and night times during the game. otherwise, i get the impression the author has no idea how the Witcher actually played.
considering how well the first game ended, i'm genuinely excited about a sequel.
What's this talk of Elder Scrolls V and makeing an MMO instead?
I'm very upset!
there are going to be 2 books written first by Greg Keyes, actually, the first one is already out (and aside from the slow plot build-up, it's not too bad). the second book comes out later this year (i think)and both books serve as a bridge to TES V. i haven't heard about it being an MMO, although i wouldn't be surprised if there is eventually a TES MMO that exists in parallel to the main series.
My guess is TES V by no earlier than 2012. but i only base that on my own gut feelings and how the series since Morrowind has taken in terms of development time.
