Both series IMO have really underwhelming combat but if I was to judge it for atmosphere Bioshock would win by a landslide. But on the other hand I prefer Metro more realistic graphics compared to Bioshock which is a bit cartoony. I don't have a real strong feeling towards either series they are both ok but I guess I would pick the Bioshock series because they have a more interesting universe.

Within 20 years I want to see some Matrix type shit. Or even better, the Black Mirror: Striking Vipers episode type of tech. Just a little thing you put on your temple or forehead or something and then "woosh" you're in the game.

...

I really hope so man imagine if we had that tech now in the Covid era. It would be the perfect escape and I can pretty much guarantee that there would be less deaths because the VR would feel so real that's the dream man minus that damn polar bear. lol

I would literally find a job where I could work from home and just spend the rest of my days living away from people and existing in the virtual world.

I know that sounds super lame but seriously, if [from a senses standpoint] VR is equal to the real thing...then what is the difference? And is that difference enough to justify the effort to partake in the real thing?

I love people, I am just terrible at dealing with them and find it super exhausting.

Story of my life that's why I never gave a damn about going to parties growing up or any social events for the most part it is exhausting.

Rather have them work on a new IP Exodus sucked bland open world with shitty combat. Last light is still the best Metro game IMO.

Next gen? Realistically?

I would like to see a.) screen door gone entirely, and b.) affordable. Add to that better ergonomics (more options for people with glasses, people with big heads, small heads) and weight reduction.

Within the next ten years?

Sensors gone, hand tracking (no controllers), and wireless. I know that's asking a lot, so I'd be happy with 2 out of 3.

Within 20 years I want to see some Matrix type shit. Or even better, the Black Mirror: Striking Vipers episode type of tech. Just a little thing you put on your temple or forehead or something and then "woosh" you're in the game.

With all the science there is concerning lucid dreams, meditation, and so on, I don't think it is entirely far-fetched to say we might get that tech within trwo decades.

I really hope so man imagine if we had that tech now in the Covid era. It would be the perfect escape and I can pretty much guarantee that there would be less deaths because the VR would feel so life like that real vacations would be a afterthought that's the dream man minus that damn polar bear. lol

Not really I like to think I'm to mature for that shit but back in the AOL chatroom days I was a mad man.

Here's some of mine.

  • Absolutely zero screen door effect gone forever
  • No glare
  • Wider FOV
  • A competitor to the Oculus Quest headsets that destroys them and makes Mark Zuckerberg cry
  • Haptic feed back gloves
  • Brain VR interface by 2030

I guess there is one in the works. Takes place in the past.

The PREDATOR chases Bill Esquire and Ted Theodore Logan through time. Both parties find each other in some undocumented civilization, where there is a four-way collision between the ancient civilization, Bill Esquire and Ted Theodore Logan and the PREDATOR.

What do you think? That's just how I think it will go.

Make it rated R and also bring back the evil Bill & Ted robots into the mix and I'm in.
