Hi,

I am reading Gamespot for years by now, but it's getting a pure annoyance by now. I do not complain about the Videos, except the fact that most of them break down or get stuck after the advertising-intro.

No, it's the pages being flooded by ads. I cannot open and read a single page without having to hide one or more bars on the bottom/side or without closing an ad in the middle of the screen. There are 10 ads on each page and zero is of my interest, because they are not relevant for me or just click-bait.

Gamespot emails are now always recognized as spam. That's particularily funny, because I have already deactivated 2 filters on my side. Seems the world (providers) have a clear understanding of what Gamespot is all about.

So, I am still interested in Gamespot's content regarding games, reviews, videos and chat. Are any real plans to stop this annoyance - maybe even by a premium membership?

Regards,

I can understand that this clash is about the fear of revenues and the right to publish content under the name (or license) of Fallout. To my mind, Fallout 1+2 are way different to Fallout 3 and NV. Bethesda may have bought the idea of that post nuclear RPG with all the places and types of characters, but they have not managed to transpprt the original spirit. I have played the first 2 titles more than 3 times each and these always made you question your actions, because you changed the world distincly... see the final videos. In Bethesda's titles, the visual aspects of the fights outperform the main story, just recycling the original Fallout world... in New Vegas even Tandy and Shady Sands get back into the story. So, just hoping a Fallout MMO may become as immersive and deep as the first to titles again, I would be looking forward to a competition between Bethesda and - maybe - some of the old Black Isle team.
