Why does it matter when the game was released? $60 for a current gen game with DLC isn't bad.

This isn't a multi-player game where you'll be behind.

Great it great. It looks as good if not better than anything out now or coming.

But oh no! It's not trending!?

Does the game not getting the score you thought it should affect your experience?

If the answer is yes, your own opinion doesn't matter enough & you should look in the mirror.

If you like Gears of War, why in f*ck do you care what someone thinks? (Who's being employed to do so).

I seriously feel like some people are waiting for a sight to call a game "the greatest game ever" just so they can justify their own feelings about a game. It's a GAME.

@mboettcher: I'm in your boat. I had that hope initially. But it would take SO much...basically another game, lol. I've thought more about what this game could be while playing it than what I'm actually doing. That's never happened.

Next major update:

NPC Aliens walk about in the predetermined rooms they're already found in.

"Look space traveler, I can walk now! Wanna know the secrets of the universe?"

-from 38 yr old gamer who won't ever preorder again. NMS was the straw.

Now off to play Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

This game and the review of it remind me of No Man's Sky. Only worse.
