Gamespot has been writing a lot of questionable reviews lately.. unfortunately for all the crybabies.. this isn't one. This review is on point and Destiny 2's latest expansion deserves nothing short of a 9 out of 10. It's the best in its genre and by a long shot. Everything about it is top notch, the story, the gunplay, the atmosphere, environments and levels. And yes even the F2P content is amazingly good. And no, Destiny 2 isn't pay-to-win and never has been.

@Barighm: Good thing in 2021 playing mobile games on your PC, full screen and with controller support, is a piece of cake, whether it's officially supported or not ;-)

I go to a cinema about once a year, sometimes twice. Most movies don't gain much or anything from being seen in a theater, but a select few do. I saw Dune in a theater last week, it was the first time I went to a Cinema since the pandemic started.. and oh boy am I glad I did it. Some movies don't really have much of a "cinematic experience" but epic movies like Dune are on a whole other level. I absolutely loved it and couldn't find any reason not to rank it as a 10/10 movie. I almost ended up watching it on HBO and we decided last minute to drive 1 hour to a cinema. So glad we made that call.

Now granted, if you have a proper home cinema, or a huge TV with a powerful sound system and you can afford to crank up the volume, turn the lights down and mute all distractions for the duration of the movie, then sure maybe YOU are getting a similar experience. Anyone who thinks watching it on a small'ish screen with the lights on and a regular TV speaker system set to a volume not to bother the neighbours or the roomies will net you the same experience.. well no point in arguing with you, you just don't get it.

hrm.. I think Gamespot should hire some lawyers and sue all those assholes that crossed the line on the comment box for diffamation. That would teach them to break the site's TOU

you shouldn't be allowed to review a remake if you weren't old enough to enjoy the original when it FIRST came out. This reviewer completely misses the point of this remake (REMAKE NOT REBOOT)

@DCuong @vesper8 I liked FF12 a lot as well, it had a good story, characters, cities, challenging combat. I wasn't a huge fan of the combat system though, it was overly complicated and not as flexible as it should have been. Actually I pretty much hated its combat system. I loved the world exploration and how you could stumble upon areas where the monsters were way too strong for your current level. I haven't beaten FF13-2 yet but I started on it, FF13 was a bore but it does get fun about 10 hours in when you get to Gran Pulse and the game opens up a bit. Mostly I forced myself through the linear boredom just because of how amazing the graphics were. I love good graphics and FF13 is a masterpiece as far as graphics go. It nailed it in that aspect, most gorgeous game on the PS3 if you ask me, and it doesn't disapoint even in the end. Just wish they had spent an extra year developping it.. as crazy as that sound.. it got released prematurely.

I don't care of it's turn-based or not, how about a game that requires a little skill that you can't beat easily by button mashing or chosing the "auto" command all the time like it was for FFXIII for 95% of the fights (and 99% of the main story ones). I hated the combat system in 13 and 13-2. The last good FF in my opinion was FFX, looking forward to the HD re-release of that. I'm tired of FFs in big modern future cities. I sure hope this FF at least has cities and NPCs to interact with beyond eavesdropping on a meaningless conversation. Bring back the world map, and multiple cities, and secret areas that can be easily missed unless you look carefully, and content that isn't so god damn linear! I don't need turn-based, but bring back the elements we loved about FF7 and FF9. And god damn choose your voice actors more carefully this time! I'm glad at least that the main character appear to be males this time around. So tired of cute fake characters with big plastic boobs with no personalities whatsoever! /rant off

meh.. this video made me want to cancel my preorder (of the game, not the system). Of course a game that is being released on PS3 as well as PS4 cannot be considered next-gen.. but seeeing this game compared to graphics we just saw of Division and even Watch Dogs makes this game look like a PS3 game.. which is what it is. It will have slightly, barely noticeable, enhancements on the PS4 but nothing to gawk at to be sure. I just hope the new gameplay elements and story makes it unique compared with the other games in the series. I can't say I'm impressed with this trailer, lag or not, The Witcher 2 has better environments and forest graphics then what I've just seen now.

Of course this entails that the console must not only be connected to the internet but must actually "call home" once every 3 minutes. If this goes through you know very well what's gonna happen.. hacker groups will hit the servers with the biggest and worse DDOS attacks ever seen before and it will paralyze millions of gamers. This isn't happening right now simply because it's not worth taking down just so you can paralyze some multiplayer games.. but if you can paralyze EVERY gamer then you can bet your ass it's gonna happen just to make M$ look bad and pay for their idiocy
