That is pretty stupid. I would have gone back after buying it from EB Games and asked to speak to a manager on the issue. I would have explained to them the whole ESRB thing that you explained to her. Then let them know that you had to take your business elsewhere and they should correct the issue or they will lose more business. It's quite possible she was simply misinformed/educated by a co-worker or something. She may have thought she was doing the right thing and unless she is corrected by her manager she'll continue to make the same mistakes.

At least you got it in the end though. w00t for zombie hunting.

[QUOTE="karriston"][QUOTE="krovak0000"]I think paying Microsoft anything is a waste sadly, I cringe when I have to buy lame MS points, it's pathetic that's what gaming has come tomfp16
Yeah, how dare they make us pay for their games that they've poured money and work into, it's a travesty is what it is!

my thoughts exactly... seriously, your talking about a $10 game... there aren't too many games out there I couldn't get $10 worth of value out of. Some I would have been willing to pay more for... Some people are just flat out unbelievable... everyone wants everything for free...

This sums up nicely my thoughts on the matter. Some people need to be less selfish and cheap, they have no true sense of reality. Only "me me me".

i bought my 360 for 400 on release day

it got the ring, i got a new one, that one got the ring, so i took it back and they gave me the halo 3 version because it was worth 400 at the time. now the elite is worth 400 so i assume that if i get the ring again, i'll get it because it's worth the same price.

Do NOT assume anything. You're going to screw yourself over. And for what, greed? Regardless of what you paid vs. what something is worth now, they are only entitled to give you back what had before the loss. It's like insurance. The idea of insurance isn't that you GAIN anything from your loss, only that you are put back in the same position you were had the loss never occurred in the first place. That would mean giving you back a regular Xbox. All you'll do is waste your time or possibly worse if you try this.

Be happy with what you have man.

So what's the deal with the bigots, and is XBL a good representation of the amount of racists in the U.S.?

lowkey254

No, I don't think so.  I don't believe the majority of people you've encountered are actually racist.  I think they are just immature.  Just like you'll find on the internet (heck start with these forums) there are a lot of people that use anonymity to say and do things they normally wouldn't.  Things they would be ashamed to be caught doing.  These same people like to "shock" others and using racial slurs is one of the ways they feel they can do this.  I can also easily be added to regular trash talking.

The other problem is that these people are also really loud.  Nice people either don't either stay quiet during the match or are playing the same games with a list of friends to avoid the children altogether.  I expect anyone who conducts themselves like that probably has a hard time making friends, which may account for them joining public matches in the first place.

If you want a "good representation" on the amount of racism in the States (or the world), don't use XBL as your measure.  And take advantage of the mute feature and feedback.

sorry but i have to agree. you bought it used (for probably $5 less than new), so epic didnt even get any money from you. why should they give you free maps?INF1DEL

This is the truth.  You wanted to save some money and bought something used.  That was your choice.  Sucks that you have buyers remorse, but it you can't blame anyone else for it.  If you can return it, then do so.  If you can't, live and learn.

I hope not. I want them to focus on the Single Player experience.sammyjenkis898

This is how I feel too.  There are only so many resources (employees, cash, time) a developer can commit to a game, and for Bioshock I would like them all commited to a single player experience.  Multiplayer has it's place, in games like Halo or COD, but not every game needs it.

Hi there,

When I went to the main xbox 360 page, at the bottom by the "Most Popular" games list were the top three posts for the Xbox 360 forum section. However that seems to have disappeared for a week or so now. I've noticed it missing from the PS3 and DS splash pages as well. Is this something Gamespot has done with their site design or a setting on my end that is messed up?

Thanks

my only concern is IGN says I can "truck" through it in 10 hours. I mean come on, 10 hours is a bit short even if I play it twice to be both good and bad... morpheusnj

Don't "truck" through it then. That only refers to those that power through a game, ignoring all the side stuff and just concern themselves with the story. Hell any RPG would be worlds shorter if people did that. Go through, explore, play and don't worry too much about "finishing it". You'll find it lasts longer then 10 hours I'm sure.

I don't know why anyone would want to speed through a game anyway. You're only robbing yourself of your enjoyment.

I think people are FAR too concern with perfection in scores. A 9 is a fantastic score. Hell it's an Editor's Choice. What is the mental barrier some people come up against that they get hung up on that 1 point?
