[QUOTE="LegendGamer7"]Hey all..... so favourite types and top 6 pokemon? discuss :D regards Alexascroble

Hmm, hard one - My favourite pokemon of all time ( as lame as it sounds) will always be Pikachu, I had pokemon Yellow as a kid and collected all the pikachu trading cards I could get my hands on. Electric types are my favourite, but I don't mind playing with water/fire types either. My top 6 Pokemon would have to be:

1. Pikachu
2. Shynx (and evolutions)
3. Cyndaquil
4. Flareon
5. Charmander
6. Ditto

BUT THERE'S SO MANY MORE THAT I LOVE... LIKE ALL OF THEM...

One does not simply pick a favourite Pokemon~. *slapped for using that line*

In my opinion, I feel like Resident Evil 6 was more fun to play with someone else as opposed to by yourself. And I don't mean online - I mean with someone else in the room with you. That could also be just me, because when I tried playing it by myself, I just wasn't as into it. The other Resident Evil games were just...better to me? I guess some games just shouldn't be "squealed" per say.

Legitimate sad story, though it didn't happen to me. Although, if you do not know what VOCALOID is, you might want to Google it. You only need a very general idea to understand the story. It's still very sad. The Story of Kaelyn Kaelyn was one of the most positive little girls you would probably ever meet in your life. She love to draw, dance, sing, and was a jr. cheerleader at her elementary school. She lived with her mother, father, and older sister, Renee. Kaelyn and Renee were 7 years apart, Renee being 14 and Kaelyn being 7. A few nights before a family reunion that was planned weeks ago with her family, Kaelyn was diagnosed with leukemia. Her parents, sister, and herself were in total shock. Her mother cried, her father wondered, her sister couldn't believe it, and poor Kaelyn didn't know what to do with herself. The doctors announced that they didn't believe Kaelyn would make it through her leukemia. Kaelyn didn't care. She always though positively about her condition and tried to make the best of it whenever she could. She still danced, sang, and drew like she always would. Months later, Kaelyn grew slightly weaker and had a more negative attitude. The doctors were worried her time was limited. It was only a few weeks until Kaelyn would turn 8 years old, and her family was praying she would make it. And then Renee has a wonderful idea. She remembered that the whole reason Kaelyn loved to sing and dance was because of an anime character she loved and idolized. Kaelyn's idol was a vocaloid character named Miku Hatsune. Renee searched on the internet and purchased some gifts for her little sister that she believed would make her much more positive again. Renee raised money by working extra shifts at her part-time job and eventually earned enough money to buy Kaelyn a cosplay costume of Miku Hatsune and a Miku wig. She also burned a whole bunch of Miku Hatsune songs on a CD and gave it to Kaelyn when she found out she survived for her 8th birthday. When Kaelyn received these gifts she was 100 times happier than she was weeks ago. She dressed herself up, put on her wig, and danced around and sung along to her music for hours upon hours. Renee felt like she just made her sister come alive again. Her parents were ecstatic as they took pictures and videos of Kaelyn's performance. She smiled and smiled, sang and sang, danced and danced. About 6 months later, Renee and Kaelyn's parents were notified that Kaelyn had unfortunately lost the fight with her leukemia. Kaelyn was pronounced dead on October 7th, 2008. Her funeral was held days later and the costume of Miku Hatsune lay on a mannequin next to her coffin. Even though Renee was horrified to see her sister go, she still had a smile for her. When preparing for the funeral, Renee found a note from her little sister on her hospital bed. This letter was read aloud at Kaelyn's funeral: Dear Renee, I want to thank you for everything you gave to me in my life. I know my time is running out, so I should make this short and sweet. You helped me through the toughest times, and I don't think I could make it without you. You helped me live my biggest dream of being my idol, Miku Hatsune, And that meant so much to me. I want you, Mommy, and Daddy to realize that my death was not your fault or mine. But it doesn't matter now, because I'm in a better place now. God is holding me, and caring for me And I get to stay like my idol forever. I love you all -Kaelyn (a.k.a. Miku Hatsune) I literally was in tears after reading this and I hope you were too. So remember this story, for it touched me so much and it was very cute, but also very sad. I love you, anime/gaming lovers <3

Ah, favourite Pokemon. I feel like that's one of the hardest questions to answer. I'll be totally honest - I was a bit disappointed by Gen. 5. I'm really hoping the choice of Pokemon in Gen. 6 steps it up a notch. As far as versions I own, me, my sister, and my cousin usually coordinate. I'll get one version (Ruby, Pearl, etc.), my sister will get the opposite (Sapphire, Diamond), and my cousin will get the one in the middle (Emerald, Platinum). Needless to say this order got a bit screwed up with Black and White/Black 2 and White 2. X'D But the versions I possess are Blue, Crystal (the order got screwed up there, too XD), Ruby, Pearl, HeartGold, and White 2. I never got the first White version.... I was afraid that would mess me up, but it really doesn't as far as I've gotten. It's really hard for me to pick a favourite Pokemon, even a top 6. X'D But I will say, I do tend to be drawn more towards Psychic- and Grass-type Pokemon than anything.

I just recently got back into my Harvest Moon Wii games, but it seems like the fandom for them has kinda died down, which is a bit of a shame. I know I can't be the only one still completely lusting over those games (I use the term "lusting" as a hyperbole, jussayin). If any of you are still out there, reply and let me now some things about your life in the Harvest Moon world! 1. What is your character's name? 2. What is your ranch's name? 3. How many animals do you have and what are they? 4. Who did you marry? 5. How many other couple have you gotten married? 6. Do you have a child/children? If so, what is his/her/their name(s)? 7. Have you opened all the Rainbows / completed all the Bell Quests? Anyone out there? Tree of Tranquility? Animal Parade?

This probably won't get many replies for a little while, but if anyone finds any releases on any other Pokémon in the new gen Pokédex, or character designs of the gym leaders/ Elite Four, could you let me know? I'm really curious, but I haven't seen any other design releases other than the three starters and X and Y themselves. Whenever any artwork is released, I'd love to know! World-wide release, baby!

I just bought Ni no Kuni today, and I have to say, it's probably one of the most beautiful games I've played. Oh my gosh, not even 20 minutes into the game and I'm already lost in feels over the death of Oliver's mother. My gosh, Studio Ghibli, you really now how to tug on the heartstrings. I recommend this game to death. I'm not too far into the story line, but so far it's just amazing in my opinion. I'm so glad Studio Ghibli involved so many different art styles within it as well. You go from the regular game-like animation, to the Studio Ghibli movie-like animation, but it changes so smoothly. I also love how the original Japanese voices are available with subs. Flawless game!
