I just want to ask if the designers of the new site even thought of putting up a beta site for us users to test the new site on before they published it? How could this disaster have happened? I know I'm not alone in disliking the new site, but I see the latest post in this thread is 5 days ago, and nothing has improved. Have the webmasters deliberately killed this site? I know I want to go elsewhere...I can't even get my news, and it's the weekend. All you had to do was to reinstate the old site from backups and upload the current news. That couldn't be that difficult, especially considering you made this transition, which should have a complete old-to-new data map (just reverse it).

Please get your act together, or I will also be forced to look elsewhere for my news (and more of your ad revenue goes bye-bye).

The new design sucks. I had my color scheme set, and everything ran like clockwork. Now, everything has a white background (which causes eyeball burn), and the entire site runs like a smartphone, which annoys the hell out of me. I have to scroll 5 times as much to see my news, and the option to cluster more stories on-screen seems to have disappeared since 2 days ago. I want less scroll and more control. I want the old site back. This site is as broken as healthcare.gov.

Okay, it's definitely a post editor problem. I cut my post in half, and it still won't post my reply. My full reply's only this big:

"Yes, fire the whole team. And no, it's not harsh. It happens all the time in the game industry. If they're skilled enough to create D3, they'll be able to get jobs elsewhere. As a programmer, I know from experience that it's better to scrap a program and start over from scratch than to make a thousand fixes to an old program and have it not work properly. Get rid of the D3 team, bring back the D2 team, and fill in any new spots with new people that didn't work on D3. The D3 team followed the vision of the morons at the top, and they are used to working with that vision. That vision must disappear completely. D3 did a 180 turn away from fun, and it will take a 180 turn away from D3 to bring the fun back. Blizzard needs to bring back the original D2 team, give them full funding, let them bring back the fun game franchise we all remember, and keep their greedy noses out of the development process. No subscription fees. No more pay-to play stuff like the RMAH as necessary to reach the highest levels of the game. No required always-on internet connections. And single-player offline is a requirement, not an option."

It's not a huge comment, although I've posted huge posts in the past. Please fix whatever's wrong in the post editor so I can voice my opinion. Thanks.

Furthermore, the editor's text limit is too low. I have to break up my responses for them to get posted. Please raise the character limit, or at least show the limit. Thanks.

I just tried to post a reply to a comment on one of my posts on a GameSpot news story. My post disappeared when I clicked on the "Post Comment" button, but was not posted. I lost all the text that I wrote.

Also, the post editor inexplicably slows down and causes my typing to be error-prone. The delays cause me to have multiple characters to be capitalized when I use the Shift key for a single character. They also insert too many spaces when I hit the Space Bar, and put the spaces in the wrong place when the post editor decides to slow down. This is becoming really annoying. Please fix the post editor or go back to the old one. Thanks.
