It's at something like ~600k in the UK alone (300k in December) and ~400k in US. So that's 1m right there. The leaderboards have 1.4m players also.

edit: To clarify, that 1.4m on the leaderboards was a couple of weeks ago when I last played. This is also the kind of game that probably appeals to people without xbox live.

I think I was expecting higher for almost everything.. Except Wii hardware. Forza 3 isn't really a surprise though, the leaderboards increased by less than 200k after the NA launch. Similar to other late month releases this year, it will probably do similar numbers next month (and obviously not make the top 10).
