nicko... maybe you havent gamed at 60+fps with high end video cards (if you have, then that's awesome).. but i'm not going to google the numbers for you.. all i'm saying is that with my 7950 GX2 Quad SLI setup.. i can definitely see the difference.. they cost a pretty penny.. but if you're going to throw down the bucks to have a pair of these to game on a HD monitor.. then you're probably not too worried about how much they're going to cost ;).. happy gaming..

nvidia sli > ati crossfire that being said.. though this test wasn't about dual video cards.. it was pretty obvious the 1950 was going to win because it's a generation later than the 1900.. which was the original competitor of the 7900.. where's ati's competitor for the 7950? yeah, that's what i thought..

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe 4GB RAM GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB (x2 SLI) yes, i've got a pair of the ultra rare 7800 gtx 512's (though i payed a pretty penny for them) and they rock. of course they're not as good as the 7900's or the 7950's but they definitely get the job done. it sounds like i'm an nvidia fanboy, but really, who isn't a fanboy of their own products? nvidia and ati are always neck and neck, and those benchmark tests always come out really close for both products in the end. but when it comes to scalability, SLI is definitely tops over crossfire. if your pockets aren't as deep as most, setting up a pair of relatively cheap nvidia cards in SLI can be more effective than getting an ultra high end card from either nvidia or ati. game on!

5. Capcom vs SNK 2 (DC) (old school capcom fighters meet the punks of the snk fighters) 4. Marvel vs Capcom 2 (DC) (button mashing at its best) 3. Transport Tycoon 2 (PC) (use different means of transportation from trains, planes, and automobiles to transport goods from city to city) 2. Resident Evil 4 (GS) (best.. resident.. evil.. ever..) 1. Final Fantasy III (SNES) (this one i could go through ever summer. one of the best, if not the best in the entire series, the characters and storyline and gameplay were revolutionary for it's time)
