I don't know what I feel about DW8; I'm sure it's a great game but I haven't even platinumed 7 yet, and I still have 7XL sitting in the shrink wrap.

 What I've heard and seen seem good though, I just don't know if I'll have the time for this entry, at least on release.

I'm not even concerned with the new consoles, my pc is already more powerful then all 3. This is probably the last console gen anyway.

 Console peasants can enjoy their "8th generation" gimped pc's with ridiculous DRM and gimmicks galore.

Final Fantasy XII:

• great plot - check
• great music - check
• great battle system - check
• good characters - check
• Great bonus content - check

I don't see what the problem is. Sure Vaan and Penelo should have never existed and are completely irrelevant to the core game, but that's the only real problem. It's still a good game whether people like it or not. Who cares if it's missing the FF7-10esque characters. It'd be better if we went back to FF1-6 style setting and characters anyway.

I almost feel as if tc is trolling me. No, CC is not the best FF game, nor is it anywhere near the top.

Actually, the more I think about it, CC may be my least favorite FF game played, and I've played almost all of them (all but Mystic Quest, XIV, and the sequel to XII on DS at least off the top of my head).

well, I dont know if Id put it as low as Dirge of Cerberus , even FF10-2 doesnt get that label.

Sure the plot made no sense and the character models and gameplay were pretty average, but the sound, particle effects, art, and fmv's were nice. The gameplay even supported kb/m control.

And best of all, you could play. as. VINCENT :cool:, That automatically gets the game props in my book!
