@athrun07 @uklegendkiller that's a shame if they are it had potential to be a great storyline and was for while it lasted. I'm curious because it's AC and part of me want's to see where ubi are taking it and then there's the "oh if I play it, it will dampen my love for series and I wished I hadn't!"
Maybe the earlier is enough for me to give it a whirl!?
@athrun07 I am hardcore AC-I love it and I just have a feeling this is gonna be disappointing and I don't want it to be. From what I can gather it doesn't even continue the plot points left unanswered in 3. Don't think I've ever been this undecided! Lol
@Azure_Nova I agree AC 2 was an amazing experience, really immersive, gripping epic story. The series will never top it in my opinion. The DLC however is a joke, because it doesn't feel like DLC in the traditional sense it feels like cut content that you should have got out of the box, but held it back for money.
I'm not hating on this game like said earlier I'm sitting on the fence, but it just feels like to me the series has ended as has the story and it's a shame because this should be a powerhouse IP and ubisoft wasted it's potential imo.
I'm still going to sit on the fence with this one...don't get me wrong I love the AC series, but I don't know something says this won't hit the spot for me. I'll read more reviews wait till my pals play it and then maybe I will make my choice.
To be fair to this review most reviews I've read are saying roughly the same thing. I'm not surprised myself I kinda expected it to be so, so without Rocksteady at the helm. Still I'll get it and play it for the story alone.
@BradBurns I totally agree and I think that's part of the reason that turned me away from the franchise-the lack of evolution for want of a better word, that sense of the "rinse & repeat" feeling.
At the same time did it need it? Does it need it? Ignoring the TV show, movies, trading cards, toys etc, etc Isn't it that sense of just simply collecting them all (Pun not intended!) The reason it's addictive to some? The simplest things sometimes gives you the best moments.
Ah Pokemon!! You're missing out Danny. Played everyone up until and including Ruby & Sapphire! To me this video brought it all back-the college days-lunch in the com room-all my college pals (Most I don't see now) Playing Pokemon! You know what I might just have to get this myself, just to relive that magic Pokemon had on me. Happy memories :)
Instead of trying to copy Mario, why doesn't sonic team look at Rayman? The best platformer out there at the minute. IMO Sonic should always be 2D platforming.... Take me back to the days of Sonic 2 & 3!! *sigh*
