I think your arguments picture a little more simplified version than what I personally think the future would really look like if there would be a 50-50% employment variation between genders, even at gaming cooperations. As long as the production management staff is not equal between genders, there will not be much space for changes in the final game products. If the management consists of mainly men, the executional developement-staff will still get orders to make their games more targeted for the male gamer group.
There will still be Gears of Dutyfield-games without any women as main characters and without good ideas created by bright female brains. The industry has to change in a way where the developement - and execution staff can influence the production of the game with their own ideas. A little like Valve lets its employees create their own games.
The first really good AI I met was in Halo Combat Evolved. I really felt that the bots where thinking and being tactical in their acts. I really hope that they will improve the Ai techniques.
