My friend and I had both recorded the audio of Star Wars and had memorized each and every line in the movie

and I have not been a SW ever sense because everything that followed the original turned out to be junk imo

I don't think it really matters. Most republicans don't have to approve of him to vote for him. Alabama is probably going to put a pedophile in the Senate next week because they think the democrat would be worse.

very likely.

having been raised in 'the south' all my life and I can tell you the thought process is basically that they dont believe it. They are literally unconscious of the fact that they cherry pick the news they want to believe to suit their own belief system. its impossible to fix (or at least I have never been able to)

so we need to start asking and answering honestly why we think black communities are not doing as well.

anything else is just useless static

You mean some black communities are not doing well. And you could ask the same about why some white, hispanic or asian communities are not doing well.

Blaming it on a race issue is just a diversion tactic.

So are you saying that black communities are not doing worse then white communities or you refuse to look at in terms of color because of fear of being called racist?

like i said, we are all racist, get past that. you cant make the issue go away simply by trying to play logic gymnastics.

and I should point out that its likely every single solitary person on both sides of this conversation know your stance when you try to avoid the question I just asked. So you might feel as if you are winning some form of arguement but in reality the other side as it where is not buying it so your wasting your engery.

contemplate that for a bit. and to be clear, I am not saying this as an insult. sometimes words I write can be viewed incorrectly.

On the 7th of dec.

It´s now at 38% and looks be pretty stable around that , so only thing sad is people who make poll threads.

its conversation worthy. I think if I heard the past news correctly every single day of his presidency has been either the worst of any other president on same day or around 3rd place.

Every single day

@tryit: I'm not arguing against it - I've published research on racial bias, in fact. I'm saying there's an issue with some of the nomenclature in circulation for various social issues, that seems designed to alienate more than precisely label issues and bring everyone on board

I think my reply would be unchanged.

If people are not talking about why black communities are not doing as well as white communities then they are dancing around the subject and in my view not being as honest with themselves and others. Talking about nomenclature and labels in a conversation that is basically about the affects of slavery is ignoring the main point

To the OP in general: the term 'do you believe' is common but its more accurate to be more specfic becuase the question stated as that suggests one might not believe that death penality exists. ok with that aside

Yes. but only in extremely rare cases, like if we had captured a Hitler or something.

@AlexKidd5000:

Now that's funny. Y'all are as bad as /r/gaming.

There are at least 30 games coming out each year more than worth playing but you're going to cry that 5 AAA piece of trash titles per year are focused heavily on online, or, that trashy survival games like PUBG are popular. When there are literally thousands of other, better games, to play. Modern gaming as in the overhyped AAA junk being pushed to the Xbox/Playstation crowd? Yes. Those games do suck. Most of them are also re-re-re-re-re-rereleases of the same games you already bought 5 times on different systems, too. Stop buying them and maybe a developer will make something new that ends up being good.

I have over 2000 games and I'm still buying new and old stuff and trying to play them all. I don't see how you could possibly prefer to complain about new releases when there are, again, literally thousands of games worth playing at your fingertips. All you're doing by limiting yourself to "new" games is depriving yourself of entertainment and experiencing great games. There's no possible way you've played every good release, even from 2017.

This year alone there were so many good games:

Prey, RE7, Wolfenstein 2, The Surge, Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Nier, Nioh, Bloodbourne, HZD supposedly, D:OS 2, Sniper Elite 4, Hellblade (not really), XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Shadow Tactics, Steamworld Dig 2, Total Warhammer 2, come on now buddy.

holy smokes! how refreshing to hear someone else say that.

agreed.
