@LasDK: If you go in with hoarder mentality, then it's a problem. But the game isn't about that, it's about surviving in the wild with limited resources, and the game is balanced as such. So there is no need to hold onto specific items for longer than a battle. You pick them up all the time, and you end up getting good weapons regularly given that you engage with strong enemies. It's well designed in that you always have a sense of scavenging and engaging with strong enemies and getting decent rewards for doing so. I know hoarder mentality is a natural human trait, but just let it go and you'll enjoy BotW so much more. If specific strong weapons were required for enemies, then it would be a problem, but the game isn't designed that way, which is why it's fine. It's just people's hoarder mentality that's holding them back from enjoying the weapon durability.
I have only done the first 4 shrines so far, it was pretty cool. Love the one-hit constraint. It made me go around super stealth mode - which was nice since this is end game and I got to use my abilities.
@redviperofdorne: It's $80, and there are 21 games on there that individually cost around $8 on the eShop, valuing in $168. So you're already wrong. Throw in 2 controllers, fun display hardware, and an OS/emulator for navigating and playing the system with various features, I don't see how you came to your conclusion.
