Have you thought about running three full screen monitors in eyefinity. Full screen monitors are taller than wide screen monitors, like about two inches taller I think. and with three monitor, it is not like you are going to be lacking in horizontal space. Also if you go with 19" full screen monitors at a resolution of 1280*1024, it is going to be less taxing on your rig.

Most games are multi-platform games so most developers probably don't want to waste time & resources on one group of one segment of the gaming market. Not everyone has an OS and video card capable of DX 11 yet. DX 11 won't become a standard until new consoles are released. So, we will continue to see games coming out here and there that use DX 11 (at least some of its features). Some of the tech, like tesselation, will be used sparingly until hardware comes out that will be able to handle it with good performance. The Unigine Heaven Demo shows what tesselation can do for graphics but current hardware (including the upcoming HD6900's) just aren't capable of running a game with that much tesselation. Basically, we are waiting for hardware to catch up and for new consoles to be released for DX 11 to become a standard. Also, Blizzard wasn't trying to make a game that had that "awe" factor in the graphics department. They were making a game that the majority of people would have the hardware to run the game with good performance. Besides, graphics are nice but gameplay tends to be more important.jtcraft
This sum it up quite nicely.
When it comes to ram, gpu, and cpu yes.
The paltry low amount of ram, when most pc's have anywhere from 2GB to4GB.
Let the cpu handle most the AI and physics. allow the gpu to handle most environmental stuff.
I love having big open worlds in games, and NPC( people, animals etc. with their own objective.),environments ( buildings, homes, parks, clubs, forest, plants, trees, etc.),interacting and noninteracting items( automobiles, weapons, furniture, etc.) all look different or are customisable and have their individual purpose.
When it comes to creativity no.
Creativity relies solely on the developers end, they need to work on improving AI and other things that would help their games become more immersive.
I game at 1024*768 or 1280*720 on 32" LCD TV. On my 24" acer, I game at 1280*720 to 1920*1200.
I wasuninformed when I purchase the 24" acer, it's a nice monitor, but I wish I bought a smaller monitor.
My next purchase will be a 19" monitor with a resolution of 1280*1024 or a22" LED720p TV.
This game should be on the Wii, it's screams kiddy.
