I just don't like how everything is moving to internet needs. I am going to college so 9 months of the year I have internet but I don't when I go home. So this whole family thing doesn't help me at all!!!

Already in the process of saving for a PC. My point tho was although I liked playing my 360 online I liked more that I didn't need internet to play it. Now I do.

I just don't see why it needs to be connected every 24 hours. Why not once a month. Why can't I schedule it on my xbox and make it check when I'm not playing it? That way I can schedule it around the times when I know I won't have internet like when I go home or if I go to a LAN party. It's just dumb that it needs internet to play games. If I wanted to use a form of steam I would have a gaming PC. There's a reason I stick to consoles but I guess there isn't that gape any more.
