I'm considering picking up a copy of Killzone 3 but I will not be buying DLC, nor will I be buying the mulitplayer-only download that is getting released tonight. How is KZ3 online multiplayer if I don't buy the DLC maps? Barren? Populated? Worth playing?

Yeah, how does matchmaking work? Confrontation was horrible trying to find a game, sometimes it would take 10 minutes or more scrolling through lists. Are there plenty of people (in the beta) playing the no-respawn types or are they all crowding the respawn games?also need a lobby system

I've been hoping that Socom 4 will have an emphasis on no-respawn gametypes (Last man standing, objectives, etc) but so far I haven't been able to tell. I didn't get in on the beta and there doesn't seem to be a lot of information about what gametypes will be in the final game. The few youtube videos I've seen show respawns. Can anybody shed some light on this?
Maybe I'm old school but my favorite kind of cover system is one where you press the "crouch" button and get behind an object. I don't need to stick to walls and have my hand held, I'm not retarded. The only reason GOW's cover system didn't ruin the game was because it was a lot less intrusive and easier to use overall than GTAIV etc.
I recently dug out my gamecube and am looking to pick up a mario party game for it. Which out of all the GCN mario parties is the best? 4 and 5 are pretty cheap used on amazon, and some reviews i read on 6 and 7 say they aren't as good but I'd rather hear from the forum what you guys think. Also which one is most like the N64 versions? Those were awesome back in the day but I'd like to stick with gamecube.
I also don't want to have to put up with any dumb gimmicks like the microphone that came with 6 (i think)
I do have Trials and I loved it. I want to see Motorm4x come to consoles. My PC can't run it (integrated graphics). Also, there is a game that was in development, but is apparently on hold for some reason. It's called Off Road Drive 3, it was supposed to be published by the same people who published IL2 Sturmovik. Here's a tech demo of the game - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEDQ-1LLwjEFor what its worth, Baja was a pretty good game - and quite challenging to boot. It lacked some polish in a few areas, but the gameplay was quite solid. A rock crawling & trail rding game would be pretty neat - if fairly focused in scope. I'd be interested in seeing how devs would handle the controls.
Have you tried Trials HD on Xbox live? It might scratch some of the itch.

This is it...thank you! Too bad the game didn't get very good reviews. I'm still waiting for an off road simulation with rock crawling, trail riding, and all the real 4 wheeling, not this rally crap.Looks like Baja: Edge of Control to me.

Obviously it's PS3. It was posted to facebook by Off Road Evolution, which is one of the best off road shops around right now. They are in the game as a sponsor, leading me to believe this game isn't a complete waste of time. That's why I need help figuring out what it is, they haven't said yet.Its an offroad racing game for playstation 2/3...
There's alot of those though :S

What game is this?
Oblivion is one of my favorite games of all time - will I like Fallout 3?
I'm concerned about the game being entirely brown, black, and gray like every other game coming out seems to be. Oblivion was colorful, had great music, was funny at times, and had plenty of interesting characters. Without having actually played fallout, I have no idea if it will stack up.
