Hit the level 50 cap and moved on to other games, want to play the DLC but rather wait for the cap to raise. Anyone know if they will and when?

Took a couple of tries but finally beat darn dragon, and killed her out of pure spite when the time came ... ploughing dragon. Now need to decide if to start playthrough 3 or move onto Dark Souls

Love the game, but the dragon is kicking my @$$, playing alchemy build. Dark mode he can kill me with one hit, but had fun on both playthroughs. Wanted to do a 3rd playthroughs Sign build but my playlist is getting back logged. Any tips for dragon, and what's a sign build work, to me it seems to keep switching out signs breaks up the flow, I usually just use quen.
