[QUOTE="Severed_Hand"][QUOTE="tri-edge99"] Pale Folklore is one of my favorite albums of all time. :brofist:Saturos3091
Pale Folklore is my favourite Agalloch album. Simply amazing.

While not my favorite, it is truly a classic for any metal fan. Ashes Against The Grain is my favorite album of all time, and their most popular album is The Mantle (my least favorite by them, but still a good album). People actually complained about Ashes since there wasn't enough acoustic. :?

Thats wierd. The Mantle was great. But I didnt want Ashes Against The Grain to be The Mantle part 2. They're trying new things. Which is good.

All of Agalloch's albums are jems though. :D

[QUOTE="tri-edge99"]

Its definitely a acquired taste. :P

nimatoad2000

I could listen to the most obscure, underground Black Metal band with the most horrible and raw, non melodic ,ugly sound to the music.

Yet Drone beats me...

It mocks me. :evil:

just because something is inaccessable does not mean its good. why do soo many "hardcore" metal fans feel that a band that is raw / horrible sound quality / very hard to get into is worth trying? while sometimes it just means THEY ARE BAD. drone isnt music man, its noise. black metal on the other hand, hail satanas. unless the production quality is a tape recorder from 1970 and theyre playing in the other room and only doing tremello picking.

I love all the drama Drone music gets. It's almost entertaining.

[QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"] Replace Groove with Drone and I can agree... Darth-Caedus

Man, Drone is hard to get into...

Its really a SNORE FEST!

Yep, I find it almost impossible to sit through an entire drone metal song...just so freaking boring...

Its definitely a acquired taste. :P
