Why does the reviewer sound like the announcer at a sports game? Some seriousness would be nice, don't try to be funny or cute. This came off as just tacky.
How many men did the author kill throughout the game? This coin of death has 2 sides. Women's death in a game is used to push the story forward, men's death is just for canon fodder and we are all ok with killing hundreds of men in the most gruesome way possible.
I haven't played the game yet, but I do see the point you make. The tools used to tell the story is old and not very inventive. But when you argue that the death of One woman is horrible but the death of several hundreds of men is not mentioned, then you have no argument.
If Americans stopped glorifying guns and violence maybe people wouldn't go about thinking it is ok. But no, guns and violence are ok. Penises, breasts and vaginas are bad.
CG was the right move at the time, the hardware lacked the power to actually make scenes like that interactive. This has however not been the case the last decade.
Devs should strive to create more interactive gameplay.
I agree that FF13 was the most horrible to date. Combat was almost pointless as well as the world and your journey through it.
would like to point out that the PS3 has longer draw distance. Look at the second picture, you can see things popingin and out as you switch between the 360 and PS3 pic. edit: the Burnout game that is.
